I called to see if I could get update information since last night the girl didn't seem that sure of the dates. I was told there are some orders shipping out today still that will be overnighted and the warehouse working on those. This was told after she escalated to a Tier 3 Support. If I don't get tracking today I was told to contact them again directly on that team.


Edit: just checked FedEx and my label has been created for and arrival is tomorrow!
 
Just called for kicks. I got a nice enough agent but a useless response. He essentially said it could come any time (tomorrow or later) and it depends on when tracking is initiated. Absolutely no guarantee of delivery tomorrow. He did tell me (I didn't even ask) that if I refuse delivery there are no fees. So if it comes tomorrow I'll take it. If not, it's going back and I pick up from Apple in the morning.

My package is now shipped, but fedex isn’t giving me the option to sign for it electronically. Can anyone else sign for it? I am scared I won’t be home when they deliver it
 
Finally got tracking information! Standard overnight service for tomorrow delivery.

Still nothing here. I was hoping with ordering a regular 12 that I wouldn't have to worry, but I'm starting to get a little worried.

Well if you're looking for peace of mind, don't call. They're useless. It seems like they have a literal stack of orders in the warehouse and they're processing them individually. As they get to them you'll be able to see FedEx information but Customer Service has no idea what's going on in the warehouse.

Best bet is to make a FedEx tracking account and set up your delivery address. It will show there before Xfinity.

The last few signature required packages from both UPS and Fedex have been left at my door step due to their new Covid-19 procedures. If they do require a signature, anyone at the residence can sign for the package. If you are real concerned, have it held at your local Fedex location and pick it up there.

I don't have the option. When I look up the package in the app it pops up a "digital door tag" and says it will need to be signed for. I can either say go ahead and deliver anyway or hold it for me somewhere. I'm going ahead.

mine says the same thing, but it says it can deliver it but if i’m not home they’ll try to “redeliver it” i put in my description that if i’m not home just put it in view of my camera. i think fedex comes later in the day for me, so i’m hoping. it wouldn’t let me put the option to have it dropped off at the local walgreens either

it’s only my boyfriend and i who live here and we will both be at work, so i don’t know
 
Off topic, but when I get this phone, do I have to do anything to switch to 5G or does it automatically work?

You do require an action. You have to switch your plan to a 5G eligible plan which is $3 more per gig.

Well, they just told me via a phone call that the phone would be available and shipped tomorrow. Meaning, I will receive it Tuesday. So, I guess the mystery is solved. We will see

Sorry to hear! FWIW there seems to be zero communication between the warehouse and customer service. It’s a complete black box and the CS guy I talked to went so far out of his way to not give a real answer “so I wouldn’t be disappointed” that the exercise was not productive. Two hours or so after he told me there was no saying when the phone would ship and “there were many many orders ahead of me being filled” the phone showed up on FedEx. Even to now though I have never received an email from Xfinity saying the device shipped and is being delivered today. It’s in their app and I found the tracking but nothing was pushed to me.
 
My order was shipped and just checked FEDEX this morning and it’s stuck in Indianapolis (6:00am) just keeps showing in transit in Indianapolis ( I live in CT) so I think my order might be lost.
 
mine is in chicago which is an hour from me, but it hasn’t left yet or out for delivery.

Mine arrived in Northbrook at 7:47. Previously arrived Chicago at 4:41.
same time mine arrived in chicago. i don’t think mine would go to northbrook. i believe grayslake which is also about an hour from chicago so could be on its way there
