I ordered a silver/12 Pro/512 within minutes of it being available for preorder on Xfinity and have not gotten any notifications today, via email or in my account. I received confirmation emails right after the preorder and the charge shows under orders on my account. Are there other folks that have not gotten anything yet, but preordered right at the beginning?
I ordered the blue pro 256g on the same day and haven’t heard anything

Still says null null on the xfinity app.
I am in the same boat. Gotta love the customer service, he was very confident that I will be receiving my order today even though there is no update since I placed the order. LOL. I said I would love to see that happening.

i got my new phone set up and had the XS max before this. it feels so small. i hope i get used to it

New phone came with a SIM card it said to use. When I did, the line didn’t work. Popped in the old SIM and the line works fine. Tried to chat with support in case I needed the new sim for 5G and he had to escalate to level 2 with a 45 min wait. I told him I was going to go AFK because I had things to do. He said fine. Then proceeded to leave the chat “when I didn’t respond for a couple of mins”. Next level idiocy.

They told me the 29th of November

They assign a new SIM when you get a new phone. You just have to activate it and it will start working. Go to xfinitymobile.com/activate. Got mine yesterday too just takes a couple minutes to move your number to the new SIM.

Gotcha. I appreciate the reply. I figured out that they never charged my CC for the phone so I had a “past due” balance. Because of that the activation button was removed for my account. Once I said ok to clearing the balance the option appeared. However when I clicked it it said there was a problem and I needed to call in. Womp womp. Of course they seem to be closed on the weekend. All the while the old sim seems to work fine. I got 5G etc.

Do we know if, like T-Mobile and others, a new SIM is actually needed to maximize 5G performance? I am tired of trying to get in touch with them if the old SIM is just the same.

Nah it's the same SIM, they just assign new phones a new SIM whether it's a new line or a replacement phone.

My understanding with Xfinity is that swapping SIM cards will work for most functions. I believe if the Phone IMEI and SIM ICCID do not match what is on your account, some advanced functions may not work. Those functions may be switching your plan from the phone or some other services like international calling options.

Damn... was going for the Pacific Blue 256gb Pro, but delivery estimate is November 25. Graphite is November 4. Anyone know if those are usually accurate?
I ordered my iphone 12 pro gold 128 gb on the 18th and was given a November 25th to Dec 2nd expected delivery date. The CSR told me the the graphite would be around November 7th.

I went ahead and ordered graphite. Could not wait. Delivery estimate was Nov 4, so I expect them to be accurate.

On a separate note, I did an online chat to get them to unlock my current XR. It’s paid off and I wanted to have it unlocked before selling it. They told me I would need to activate my new 12 pro before they could unlock my phone. Stupid.

That sounds made up by the agent you talked to. They have written criteria for unlocking and getting a new phone is certainly not one. I’d try again with a different agent.

If I bought an unlocked iPhone 12 Pro Max from Apple's store, can I still get Apple Care through Xfinity like I currently have with my iPhone 11 Pro Max? Thanks in advance!

Who can enroll in the Xfinity Mobile Protection Plan?

Customers who purchased a smartphone or tablet from Xfinity Mobile. Refurbished devices are not eligible.

Looks like it has to be purchased from them. You can still get Apple Care through Apple though.

Mine says Nul Nul Replacement device paid in full. All grayed out.
Mine said this at first then said the phone model (still greyed out and no details) then finally became “active” around the time it shipped. It showed up in FedEx before xfinity showed it as active.
