iPhone XR XR looks like it has tint shift

I think it’s a lottery like always. Some shifted more dramatically than others at the store

Looks great to me. I have enough visual acuity to be able to see it is slightly more grainy than my 8 Plus display. It is not a difference that will lessen my enjoyment of this phone. I think the colors and viewing angles are excellent.

I can’t tell if there’s a pwm flicker. I don’t think so.

Sound is where I feel a bit of a loss. The Max sounds richer when I compare my XR stereo speakers to that of my husband’s X and what I remember of my Max when I had it. But it’s close to what I’ve been enjoying on my 8 Plus. So that’s good.

So far I’m really enjoying this phone. I’m still getting it all set up. I had it all morning but waited for my family to get home for the unboxing.

Any shift I see is near identical to my 8, and is not nausea-inducing like the XS was.

Screen looks great. Only issue is getting use to the weight and not really being able to do one handed surfing.

People got on my case about shift and I saw it on some units on the table but some without

So it’s there but unit dependent
