Your puns are not lost on me! As stated before I'm a quality engineer in software, app and web development. I get paid to be anal. ;-) Not be confused with getting paid for .....

I need your skills. I have to check over our websites we code and I’m horrible at it

Developers should never QA their own code. If you are ever looking for a freelance QA team please hit me up in PM!
Thats what I have said but still gotta do it lol. I always say - I built this im not gonna notice ANYTHING wrong with it when im looking at it as an actual website but still have to do it as one of the steps with every site lol.

And thanks, Will do if we ever need one!

Nothing like insulting people that notice things you don't. It's the passive aggressive Apple acolyte way.

Thank for the defense. I'm really not sure why Newtons Apple decided to attack me over this. It seems a little harsh for sharing something on the forums. But I guess nothing goes unpunished on the internet.

What the heck is up with this? I spotted this on the Xs Max (there is no Xs option for the forums) Does this not bother anyone else? Is there more gravity on the right side of the screen? Why are the icons drooping?

It is even worse on the lock screen where the underlined bar extends down well below the notch making the screen look even more imbalanced!

I actually noticed this too but only in certain apps. Cannot recall which ones. But I noticed the same exact thing.

Is yours like that ALL the time?

Very interesting, I wonder if it's just your phone being defective OP.... I see others have stated they don't see it on theirs but perhaps they just don't have the tools you have to pick it out. I would honestly never even pick up on that lol, but much props to you for seeing it. Apple prides themselves in being very aligned and perfect so I am thinking its a software glitch or perhaps a defective device?

Yep noticed this too on my Max! So annoying! Also, why can’t they push them further up into the both! It looks kinda dumb how far they stick down as it is!

That is nothing more then lazy lazy lazy lazy quality control and attention to detail. I don’t believe it’s very hard to programme the location of your icons on a screen, I’d imagine they’ll fix it in an update, and they most likely were told about it by beta testers.

They were looking at X / Xs not the Max. Seems to be a Max only issue but the forums don't have an option in the drop down for Xs or Max yet.

I know its minor, few people will notice and has no actual impact on the User Experience.... but its hard to unsee once you notice it.

They’re lined up with the bottom of the notch.

Makes you wonder what they do when they buy a car or a house.

I call someone and have the problem fixed? not exactly sure what you are trying to insinuate.

na, you can see they are not lined up by the red line. the one on the right falls below the notch... (Xs Max only)

I saw this issue one time briefly but it went away. Is yours off center the entire time in every app?

Well I meant for everyone else but you, lol. They’re supposed to line up at the bottom. Not sure why yours doesn’t, and everyone else’s does. Maybe it’s an app-specific issue as one poster mentioned.

Some people like Apple so much, they can do no wrong. It's okay to demand better from a company that has your loyalty. Especially for something I'm sure is a quick fix.

Incorrect, not on my Max they’re not. It doesn’t bother me too much, but I did notice it. It’s more annoying that Apple can’t do something as simple as lining up icons

Mine is a Max, and it does not have this issue.

Draw your red lines on that if you can, I’ve tried to use the screenshot crop tool as an ad hoc measuring stick.
[doublepost=1538079094][/doublepost]Mine are definitely even.

(It's level on my X).

Personally I think they are lined up just fine. Draw your line from the outline of the battery instead of the solid portion and it lines up. At least on just the right side. If you line if all the way across there is a different but I think it’s due to the size increase of the clock.
