You have to set it up to get it started, no. Or does it read your mind.:)

Just like you need to setup Siri shortcuts to get it started, no? But Siri shortcuts is like a mule. Everytime you want it to do something you have to give it a kick. Samsung Routine just do it for you :)

As far as the video, just pick the one you want to slant the results.;)

What's there to slant? You can see from video Note 9 beats XS Max in opening apps (except games and video conversion :) ). In fact most online videos collaborated this.

which is sad. a 1500 phone with the most powerful chip on the market (by a clear margin) shouldn't let a 500 dollar android phone beat it in opening ANY app, much less multiple apps...

lol, I’m enjoying this thread..especially the persistence by mib1800!

The best part is..we haven’t resorted to name calling..( hope I didn't jinx it now )

I, personally, enjoy both OSes ;)

I think you swayed me. I’m gonna but the OnePlus 6 instead the Note 9. LOL

We all know that to measure how fast a phone is opening apps is the only metric. Otherwise the note 9 is demolished by the a12.;)

This is exactly why the note 9 sales are allegedly dismal, imo. The other android vendors are gunning for Samsung.

well if you want samsung, this year old 500 dollar samsung phone absolutely embarrasses the xs max too lol. its ok if the a12 is only good for nice geekbench scores and not real life use. truth hurts.

What nonsense. The only “truth” if your use case is opening up apps for a YouTube video, get a note 9. Else the Xs trounces the snapdragon with real world processing.

I changed my mind. Just the looks alone I’m going to buy the iPhone. I don’t date fat chicks and I don’t own ugly phones.

its ok if apple is letting inferior phones open things faster than its a12 chip can. at least apple makes up for it by having more features.....oh wait, nevermind. :p

well given that none of the top 100 grossing apps on ios have anything to do with video processing, yet both netflix and hulu are in the top 10 says, yeah iphone users watch stuff more than they edit stuff.

btw if you are wondering, both netflix and the hulu app open faster on a year old samsung phone....

I'm changed my mind. When I decide to just sit around opening apps on my phone, I will go to youtube to see which phone is best for just opening apps.

can you even get to youtube and watch a whole video with your signal dropping in and out?

I was actually just pondering that today when I was relieving myself. Why on earth I say, won’t my Netflix and Hulu apps open as fast as a year old Samsung. More thought will be needed.

Show me something the the a12 is good at except video conversion and gaming? :)
XS Max is slow in LTE, wifi and opening apps. And less hardware for 2x the price

You have nothing to rebut. So running back to sales as cover again huh?

Put the XS Max on the table. Press on it. Seems like it is limping due to camera bump. Looking at from front the head seems to have been squashed in as well (notch :) )

c'mon silly. thats obvious. its b/c apple doesnt know how to probably use their powerful a12 chip while still charging a premium for it.

can't believe you didnt know the answer to such a simple question.

I have no problem with maintaining a connection. I can stream multiple sources simultaneously? Why would you think otherwise?

b/c a ton of iphone xs users have that problem? unless you think they are all lying.

Note 9 is so great
No one is buying it
That's it biggest problem. Talking all the thing you want, can't change our mind, other's mind, who actually use samsung, android products and flee away

Hope I didn’t offend. I wasn’t necessarily picking on the Note 9 being ugly, I think all Samsung devices are fugly and kind of cheap looking. Reminds of that chick I bring home at 2AM when the bars closing. I get some serious buyers remorse when I wake up the next day and realize what I did.

They’re selling so well that Best Buy is offering a free 32” 720 TV. Limited time only though. LOL

Tons of people don't mean all the Xs/Xs Max are effected
And that's number is not "tons", just 5-10% all the Xs or less, unless we convert it to Note 9 users currency
