This makes sense, but then what does apples 1 year warranty cover?
Any manufacturing defects is covered under warranty. You still set up genius appointment and have a technician take a look at it and if he find it a defect, they can replace it if they have replacements in stock.

This is exactly what I just did. I have a yellow hue on the bottom half of the screen and the screen is not as bright as my 6 or 6S Plus. The technician went to replace it but they didn't have any left in stock, so they ordered one for me. Hopefully I'll have it swapped out in a day or two.

i have an appointment tonight at the genius bar to get my phone swapped. i don't have as yellow as a screen as many do in this thread but it definitely is a shade or two more yellow than the ones i checked at my local apple store. i hope the one they give me has a good screen!!

on the other hand i did upgrade to my 7 with IUP and not sure if swapping the phone will affect anything??

What's the verdict on mine?

My 7 on left, my brother's 6S on right:

Conspiracy theory.

So what say to to all the examples of good screens we have seen in the last few pages? Time to face reality Bryan.

Man, you are nuts! Thanks for the chapter of writing above and no thanks for trying to put words in my mouth, but I have no interest in playing.

I don't believe in your theories on the iPhone nor your habit of returning dozens of phones just to get one that you think is "just right". Too bad Apple doesn't track you better so they could give you your money back and tell you to take a hike.

Looks like you can't refute my points. It's OK, you never had a chance anyway. Good luck with your new 7's which should be here soon. Sweet irony would be if one screen has the yellow display and the other has the good display. Then how could you deny two screens exist? I'm sure you'll find a way to convince yourself its the same screen. LOL.

How does it look to you in person? To me here, your phone looks more red/pink compared to both devices. The ipad is warmer than your phone. His phone is warm but your ipad is warmer.

Not drab yellow by any means. Just pinker and I think that may be the camera? Hard to tell.

Another pic. Same settings. IPad Pro screen is same colour as iPhone 6s Plus. Checked with the wife's iPhone 6 and I pad mini 4 and they all seem about the same. iPhone 7 plus screen seems way too yellow compared to all and not bright enough.
Spoke to Apple. Going in tomorrow for an exchange. Hoping the screen I get is much better than the one I have now and hoping for no other defects too.
Will have the photo to show the Apple person and my 6s plus to compare to. Just need to check the display models in store.
Fingers crossed and will keep the thread updated of what my new one looks like

Here is a comparison taken between my i7 and an SE. Pictures shot with an iPad with both phones at 100 percent brightness in a dark room. With the naked eye, I can only see the lowest bar being yellower than the rest. I think the phone is just slightly warmer than the SE, but certainly not by much. The yellow'ish bottom sucks though, makes browsing GAF quite annoying, since everything goes from yellow to white.

Did they tell you they had some in stock? I'm waiting for a replacement to get in to my local store.

Say what you want, but I say that it is not you that is living in reality. But I don't want to digress into smug personal attacks like you do. I'm also not interested in playing your extended games, which is why I'm not "refuting your points".

When I get both of my new iPhones, like I said, I will provide pictures and an analysis with a colorimeter. If I have bad or differing screens, I'll be the first to raise my hand and say that I have a problem. But I have a hunch it will be like every single other year and I will have great iPhone displays. If not, and I am wrong, you can be the first one to jump up and down in joy and proclaim how wrong I am. Until then...

I dont need you to confirm or deny - there are a ton of people in this very thread who have already done so. We are waiting for you to catch up to all of us. At this point, in the face of all this evidence, you aren't looking too good by continuing be be in denial or say this is a conspiracy. Its over Bryan. You lost.

Take solace in the fact that we are just trying to help you get the best phone out there. Just looking out for you. You lost the argument but the good news is you win by making sure you get the best version of the phone!

I just got my 7plus and next to my 6plus my 7 is more bright and vivid. If anything I got to keep checking my brightness but it's set the same but looks brighter.

This photo makes the problem quite evident.

I think it's kind of interesting that it is a known fact that the sevens have a warmer default color temp while at the same time there are widespread yellow 'defects.' An interesting coincidence.

Its not a known fact. Its been proven that two screens exist. Read the thread, evidence all over. you're behind on this issue.

I hope you can get some help.

Can you refute a single point I've made? Cause if not...it may be you who needs the help Bryan.
