I thought my purple Yoobao was off center too until I pushed the iPad all the way back into the case. As for the accidental activating of the wake/sleep feature, my Yoobao case stays closed even in my purse.

Everything else in the back gets misaligned when I do that on my brown one. The camera hole doesn't get covered but it's way off centered. It's also only a temporary fix as the iPad slides back to its natural position of being slightly to the left.

My brown one activates sleep/wake everytime I pick it up. How do you know it's not constantly switching on and off in your purse as the nose isn't very loud.

I'm sorry that you are having problems with your case, but mine isn't switching on and off. The sound on my iPad 3 is pretty loud. Also, I haven't had any decrease in my battery power. If the case was being activated by accident, there would a decrease in my battery. I can turn my case on its side and the magnets keep the case closed. Perhaps you just got a bad apple. I already own two other Yoobao cases. One in brown and the other in red. The brown is actually for my prior iPad 2 and it works flawlessly on my iPad 3. Unfortunately, the red is also for the iPad 2, but the wake/sleep feature does not work on the iPad 3. Strange.

The is confirmed, it happens with my case, too.

Hi, was this ordered from amazon or the Yoobao site? Do the Accessorise cases say Yoobao on them just curious...also does the front cover stay down w/ the iPad staying asleep when shut?

I know some of these folio cases the iPad will wake from the cover not staying down.

Mine was ordered from kev. And the cover stays closed very well for auto on/off.

Eta: yes it does say yoobao on the cover

I have the coffee colored Yoobao Exec case, received from Kev this morning. It is really classy looking, compact, everything lines up and the on/off magnets work great. I also have the Maroo Awanui case which offers good drop protection but is bulky and not very professional appearing (great for a young adult in college though). I've used the smartcover but hate the typing angle and the way it slips off so easy, not to mention lack of back protection.
I'm done looking now because I found the perfect case for myself now. :apple:

Just bought the Yoobao case, honestly, I'm just not into it. Got the coffee one, feels horribly cheap. It's going on eBay. I prefer the Apple Smart Cover with a hard back case like the Incipio or iBlason much better. Oh well, figured I'd give it a shot. Now I can say I've tried it :). Different strokes for different folks.

I did the same thing with mine and my wife's. The yoobao looks nice but it just doesn't do anything else well. My wife now has the incipio feather in frost with the pink smart cover and I now have Devicewear's Ridge. We couldn't be more happy.

Just checked out that Devicewear case. Looks nice. I grabbed a Grafiti off Amazon for $17 to try out. Probably just to feed my addiction :)

I have got all my Yobaoo cases from kev i kev. He has great product and is great to deal with also. I got the new Executive case in black and think it is a great case. I just recently ordered the new Yobaoo iSlim in black and should be here by Friday. Still waiting for Yobaoo to make another iMagic for the new iPad.
In my opinion, Yobaoo makes the best cases for all devices. Even have their Long March battery and think its great too.

I've had my coffee colored case for almost 2 weeks. I took it off tonight & noticed it has stained my screen protector. I have the white iPad so it is quite noticeable.

This reflects the issue I had with the v3 iPad 2 Yoobao: the iPad eventually wiggles its way back out. The little flap that you tuck behind the iPad to hold it in place isn't very long or grippy. In particular, if you use the iPad with that opening down so the speaker is on the right and not blocked by your hand, the iPad eventually slips out and has to be snugged back in.

CaseCrown did this better in their Bold Standby case; the little flap has Velcro there.

Does anyone else think the leather isn't as genuine as advertised? I've had my coffee executive leather for a couple weeks now and I swear it feels like vinyl. The little sample disk that was included was NOTHING like the actual product: the sample was real leather....the actual case is probably not.

Pretty sure my iPad 2 case was bonded leather (i.e. scraps and plastic), but it was ok quality. Smelled like leather and the grain wasn't unrealistic.

What do people expect for $30, my Vaja was $290 way over priced but its a nice LEATHER case. The synthetic leather smart cover is $40 and the leather one is $70 and all you get is a front cover with no protection what so ever. I bought the Yoobao as a temp cover and tossed it. Most cases that say leather now days are not full grain leather and if it is your going to have to pay for it. Look at Saddleback, Maroo premium leather cases and Waterfield very nice leather but you cant even buy a wallet for $30. But i do agree that Yoobao should do something about the flap, a piece of velcro on the flap would make it much more appealing and improve it 100% but its a good case for the money if you dont use landscape alot

This is why im not a big fan of this case afterall after further examining it.

I want the Vaja Style for this reason as it has clips, but it isnt coming out till May might just get something else unless it drops within the first week of May

Velcro might not work well on the Yoobao. The case is so thin I'm pretty sure it'd be lumpy if you put velcro in there. CaseCrown could get away with it because they have a rigid panel behind the iPad (and velcro).

But they should do something about it. There's no question it was an annoyance with the case--really the only annoyance with the case.

I agree that for $30 it's a nice deal. If the magnets had worked on my new iPad I probably would have just stuck with using it instead of buying the Smart Cover. It's certainly the better buy, economically speaking.

yeah that is true forgot about the thinness as the flap did cause a lump in the back maybe if the flap was a tad bit longer it might help. Did your new ipad not work with the new ipad Yoobao or the ipad2 Yoobao the coffee case i had worked like a charm. have you looked at the Yoobao iSlim it looks like a better case and it has open bezel and a tad bit more protection. i was eye balling that still i have a insane momet and ordered the Vaja libretto and messenger bag.

I have an iPad 2 v3 Yoobao. The magnets are wrong for the new iPad. Bummer, because otherwise the fit was great.

I'll check the iSlim, but this whole case thing has turned into an expensive journey as I try different cases trying to make the Smart Cover I bought worth it. I'm loathe to go to a complete folio and lose it, even if I do know I'm throwing good money after bad.

I am thinking of buying this case. But i am not sure about the color...brown, coffee, black or maybe the more stylish colors like purple, orange or yellow. I have the red smartcover and i realy like it so red is not an option for me. Or should i get all of them :p

I think my first choise is going to be the coffee color...what do you think?

Just my few thoughts

I'm looking for a case to fit over an iPad 3 with Zagg LeatherSkin. Is the Executive loose enought / stretchy enough that you think it would fit my iPad?

Originally I was considering the Yoobao wheat but Kev said it was probably too tight and recommended the Executive instead.

Thanks - Greg

Wow, this case has either lovers or haters.

My wife is in the lover category. Thin, lightweight, gorgeous leather feel and smell. Nice stitchwork. Magnet works great. iPad doesn't slip out. All holes perfectly aligned. It works perfectly for her.

The only issue we have noticed is that if we stand up the iPad for charging on our counter (portrait mode), gravity does shift the cover enough so that the iPad turns "on". We simply charge it now in landscape mode. Problem solved.

The Chinao Vaja style got pushed from first May now to June? The iPad has been out how many months now? What good is getting a case nearly halfway through its cycle just terrible on their part. Terrible.

Does anyone know if Yoobao's iPad 3 case would fit an iPad 2? This looks like the best replacement for my Switcheasy Canvas (too heavy) but I want one of the new colour options for the 3 rather than the boring ones for the 2...

Yes it does - Yoobao cases IMO are excellent.
