I love that feltu case on etsy. I'm worried about the price $61 + $8 shipping and the fit. If it fits snug I would pay that much for it but I woudnt order it unless I could return it.

Has anyone purchased this case from feltu on etsy?

That's the only complaint I have about the Yoobao case. It doesn't fit as snugly, especially top to bottom, as I would like.

V3 received in UK

Finally receive my V3 today, fantastic design, love the multi viewing angle, and not a bad price in UK as well. (Compare to the incase one sell in UK, and is much less bulky:apple:)

No manufacturer package as the seller say damage during the transportation, but the seller ship with Jiffy postal bag.

Ordered from the official UK seller. (Reserved one after buying the V2 from them):D

Some pictures for you guys!

What seller? (link)?

How about writing position?

Thanks

The V3 is really nice, the only thing that worries me is all those exposed edges. You wouldn't be able to fit the iPad in with, say, a Switcheasy Nude on the back.

a0911091837, how are you finding it compared to the V2?

No, it just fit the naked iPad :apple:

I love this case more as there is more viewing angles available, very slim.

For protection then I will say V2 is much more secure, so I might use the V2 when travelling and v3 for daily use.

Just ordered a V3 from the same UK seller as above, looking forward to receiving it.

I've been using mine in a Griffin Élan Passport which is nice and soft and I really do like the feel of it and the way it doesn't cover the edges, but the straps cover important things like the portrait lock so it's a slightly frustrating design.

It looks like Yoobao have put some thought into this case, and for someone like me who wants as small a case as possible it seems like the best option at the moment.

£32.99 delivered as well, happy with that.

Some question for you please.

1. How is the folds/hinges holding up? I'm always scared of them wearing out very quickly.

2. Is the v3 made of Genuine Leather or TPU leather like the original?

3. How well does the case hold the ipad in place? Is it secure enough to turn upside down how well does the flap stay in place?

4. How well does the case resist dust, particles, etc and how well does it clean?

Can we have a pic of the back? Is there a flap, per the Apple case and Yoobao V2?

No, Clean back,:D

1. Only time can tell, but I will say this case is well made after first day of use.

2. I am not sure, but it look and feel like the v2's material.

3. Very secure. Just tried turn it upside down and shake it.. my iPad still in the case ;)

4. Much.. much better then the Apple's case, and if you have the v2 then you will understand that leather is much easier to clean compare to the official Apple's case.:apple:

Me too. I also went for a Powersupport Anti-Glare from the same guy.. Looking forward to replacing my nasty Invisible orange-peel Shield.

Hopefully there won't be too much drama. My eBay postal address wasn't linked to PayPal when I placed my order and he says he wont post to unconfirmed addresses on the item listing. :(

I have a question for a0911091837 about the new Yoobao case. I use my iPad a lot for reading (I have the Yoobao v2 leather case), with the top cover folded under the iPad. How well does this new case work when doing that? Does the left side of the case tend to flop around under the iPad, since it apparently is not clipped to the iPad? Thanks for any info. I wonder when these will be available from a U.S. seller :(

My only hesitation for the new case is that it doesn't appear that it holds the iPad in as securely as V2.
What are your thoughts?

Looks to me like the iPad is held in by the two top and bottom clips, and maybe the two clip things on the right side. I don't like that the left side of the case is always going to be loose and flopping unless you have the lid closed. Someone that has this case correct me if I'm wrong.

I already asked these questions and it was answered

I'm not talking about turning it upside down. I'm talking about the left side of the case being loose every time it's opened. Those clips on the LEFT top and bottom corners don't actually clip to the iPad, do they? At least that's what the pics seem to show, like this one:

You are exactly right, the "clips" on the left of the case don't actually clip onto the iPad, they merely act as side bumpers to stop it slipping out left. In fact, it is crucial to the design that the iPad is allowed to come away from these clips as when you put it in stand mode you need to bend the back of the case away from the iPad as can be seen from one of the pics posted earlier (re-posted below, credit to OP).

I must say though, the design works perfectly. The whole thing is just solidly held, really no movement at all. The back can bend away to put it into the stand mode, but it really doesn't come away at all any other time, the clips do kind of hug the edges so provide a small amount of grab to hold on and keep it flat. When you fold the cover to the back so that it's on itself (like folding a book cover back) it makes the side clips push in even more.

The case is a fantastic piece of design, I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending it to anyone.

Thanks for the pic - one more question, can you fold the cover behind the iPad along the spine as you would if holding a book? I frequently hold my iPad in portrait mode like this and always liked how the official Apple case folded flat behind it.

Does that mean its not as sturdy in the typing position as the V2?

Not really, both very sturdy.

Yes, you can folded under the iPad, but I feel a little bit harder to do it so on the v3. Is not clipped to the iPad.

Hope this help.

V3 looks perfect, ordered from that mac4u uk shop:) i just hope it will fit with the SGP film on the back  (about 1/3mm thick)

Should be fine, but do let us know when you receive it.

The left top and bottom clip to the iPad, but is very easy to unclip it and use for multi angle.
