Lately been going every 3 years. Pleased with my 15 Pro so I’ll probably join the fun for the 18, or if that 17 slim is real; never know.

Has anyone found a running belt that’ll fit the 16 Max Pro. We used to use FlipBelt which was great but didn’t fit the 14 Max Pro and the SPI Belt is nowhere near as good - it’s adjustable so expands over time and not as easy to get at door keys, gels and phone.

Tried arm bands but didn’t get on with them (also quite a weight on one arm for long distance!) and not sure about other options.

Following the debut of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple has started letting customers prepare for pre-orders, which are set to begin on Friday, September 13 at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time or 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

If you plan to buy an iPhone 16, you can use the Apple Store app or Apple's website to choose a preferred phone, confirm your status with your carrier, add accessories, choose an AppleCare+ plan, and add a preferred payment method ahead of when pre-orders go live. Payment in full and other payment options are supported.

iPhone Upgrade Program members are able to choose their preferred iPhone 16 model and complete pre-approval steps that include checking upgrade eligibility, securing credit lines, and confirming shipping details.

Apple has offered a "Get Ready" feature for several years now, providing customers with a streamlined way to pre-order their iPhones with the tap of a button.

Pricing on the iPhone 16 starts at $799, while the iPhone 16 Plus is priced at $899. The iPhone 16 Pro is available starting at $999, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max is available starting at $1,199.

Following the September 13 pre-orders, the iPhone 16 models will launch on Friday, September 20.

The iPhone 16 base model looks like the North Korean Samtaesong 8. I am serious. Look at it for a chuckle. Apple is copying North Korean phones, now.

Did what is seemingly now an annual tradition: Configure new phone, look at price, look at pros and cons of new phone vs current phone (12 mini), and conclude this would be a >$1000 outlay for a downgrade, close window, and continue on with life.
I have been doing that with my iPad Pro the last couple of years. Did it yesterday in fact after deciding its best to wait on a phone this year.

Maybe I’m dumb but what benefit does ‘getting ready’ actually provide? I’m assuming it’s not some kind of virtual queue system where those using this option have already secured their chosen phone in Apple’s system? Like having the phone pre-allocated to you? Or is it simply that it saves you a few clicks when the order window opens? In other words, if I ‘get ready’ do I still have to be online at 1pm UK time on the dot to secure my order? Sorry, just not understanding the benefit fully.

It's for you sit relax right now, make the right choice of what color you like and what size or carrier etc, and get your authorization on the card ready so you know ok, my card is ready, my finance option is ready and etc.

When it comes time for Pre-Order, you just submit your order quickly, as the stock is limited at first. This way, you can get your device next week and not next month. Also, things tend to be slow on Pre-Order time, so imagine putting in card info and finance option, and the app/site is slow as hell that time as everyone is trying to use it. So yeah, that's the purpose of it: to make your life easier.

Look, I upgrade every year. If that makes me a fanboy or a rube, or a sucker, so be it. IDK. I like having the newest camera to take pictures with and the best battery life. I regret nothing, and make no excuses. I simply do it because I want to, and I can. And if you don't like that too bad.

What really grinds my gears (said in the Peter Griffin voice) is I upgrade through Verizon every year and I can't pre pre pre order order order order. I'm stuck waiting for launch day.

And no in store pickup. I'm stuck waiting for the FedEx man and it's a hassle.

Me: I’m good with my current device, I don’t need a new phone.

Carrier Deals: Hey we’ll give you $1000 off the new phone if you trade that in right now.

Also me: I’ll take the Pro Max in White this year, thanks.
except ya gotta pay for the crazy priced new plans to take advantage of this so it evens out

I haven't. The flipbelt is the largest I've used and it barely fits the Pro.

Arm bands suck.

I don’t think these will be hard to get…at all! Just walk in and grab one.

It's been that way for a few years now.

I’m planning to upgrade just so all my wife and my devices finally have USB-C so one charging cable can rule them all 😂

I will NEVER understand the people who get new phones every year or two.

I'll see what the 12 Pro Max prices look like on ebay in a few months. And that's only because the 4G network keeps degrading, 4G is plenty fast enough for a phone.

If it's too much, I'll just keep using the XS Max.

What's to not understand? There are new features. We want the new features, so we buy.

You can’t in Spain. Yo lu can save a favorite but you still lose the settings for the trade in

My carrier is offering 800 trade in for my 15 pro max , and will only have to pay like 7$ monthly phone payments so the deal is too good to pass up
