The iPhone Get Ready program doesn't work if you're ordering in the Veterans & Military store. It saves me $150 if I get it through that store so I'll take my chances and order on Friday morning.

I dual used an iPhone with a Motorola Razr+ 2024. I replaced both with the Pixel 9 Pro XL, Pixel watch 3 45MM, and ordered the Pixel Buds Pro 2. No more dual wielding for me and I'm settled. My wife gave up her iPhone and did the same thing, she says she is done playing the apple wall garden game and will vary the devices she uses and not be stuck in one ecosystem for everything.

I agree on the arm band front - there’s some over the shoulder sling thing which would annoy me 🐿️

I wear two - a Garmin and an Apple Watch 😂. I don’t go out without a phone though - and a watch isn’t much use for gels and keys….

Why do you need a phone? Use a cellular watch. Don’t understand what gels and keys have to do with it?

I’m ready to keep using my 15 pro. Some people seem to have more money, than they have sense.

It does seem odd that I can do everything for preorder except the final step of actually placing the order. Whether I submit it now or Friday I still wouldn't get it until at least the 20th. Though I guess it at least gives one the option of changing their mind before Friday.

okay so pre-preodering doesnt validate the purchase and you still need to be the fastest to make you sure receive it on day 1

It has always been that way. All you are doing now is getting all the behind the scenes stuff completed so you won’t have to on Friday a.m.—making things easier and faster.
