I will NEVER understand the people who get new phones every year or two.

I'll see what the 12 Pro Max prices look like on ebay in a few months. And that's only because the 4G network keeps degrading, 4G is plenty fast enough for a phone.

If it's too much, I'll just keep using the XS Max.

You're not required to understand what other people do with *their money* or what *their reasoning* is. Let it go and try to find happiness with your decisions.

You don't have to understand. More importantly why do you even care? LOL You do what's best for you.

Did you get tired of the Natural Titanium? I am looking at getting a 16 Pro Max but torn between Black and Natural..
I got tired of the natural titanium color after a year. I always had the space gray color for pretty much every single phone except for one year I went with white (iPhone 5S). I always keep it in a case, so the biggest difference is the black camera area instead of the grayish color the natural titanium has. I ordered the Denim color case and liked how the black lens looks against the blue.

Skipping this year for the first time ever. I wasn't expecting much from the 16 lineup, but I was definitely hoping for more than we got (particularly the Pros). And the mediocre at best trade-in values easily reinforced my decision to hold onto the 15PM for another year, because it would still cost over $600 to upgrade and the improvements aren't worth that to me.

With that said, definitely keen to see everybody's ordering and delivery experience over the next couple weeks! Always a fun and exciting time on the forums.👏🏼

Has anyone found a running belt that’ll fit the 16 Max Pro. We used to use FlipBelt which was great but didn’t fit the 14 Max Pro and the SPI Belt is nowhere near as good - it’s adjustable so expands over time and not as easy to get at door keys, gels and phone.

Tried arm bands but didn’t get on with them (also quite a weight on one arm for long distance!) and not sure about other options.
Dude, get a watch.

I haven't. The flipbelt is the largest I've used and it barely fits the Pro.

Arm bands suck.

It's been that way for a few years now.
I agree on the arm band front - there’s some over the shoulder sling thing which would annoy me 🐿️
Dude, get a watch.
I wear two - a Garmin and an Apple Watch 😂. I don’t go out without a phone though - and a watch isn’t much use for gels and keys….

Haha, I have a buddy that runs with two watches as well.

I just run with my series 6 and leave the phone in the car. It's not cellular; I just like being disconnected for a bit.

Following the debut of the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max, Apple has started letting customers prepare for pre-orders, which are set to begin on Friday, September 13 at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Time or 8:00 a.m. Eastern Time.

If you plan to buy an iPhone 16, you can use the Apple Store app or Apple's website to choose a preferred phone, confirm your status with your carrier, add accessories, choose an AppleCare+ plan, and add a preferred payment method ahead of when pre-orders go live. Payment in full and other payment options are supported.

iPhone Upgrade Program members are able to choose their preferred iPhone 16 model and complete pre-approval steps that include checking upgrade eligibility, securing credit lines, and confirming shipping details.

Apple has offered a "Get Ready" feature for several years now, providing customers with a streamlined way to pre-order their iPhones with the tap of a button.

Pricing on the iPhone 16 starts at $799, while the iPhone 16 Plus is priced at $899. The iPhone 16 Pro is available starting at $999, and the iPhone 16 Pro Max is available starting at $1,199.

Following the September 13 pre-orders, the iPhone 16 models will launch on Friday, September 20.

Most boring launch of iPhones. Even the pixels which launched way way after iphones are better in so many ways it's sad. No display improvements other than a tiny barely noticeable removal of bezels which still get covered by phone cases. No faster charging as rumored, they have the slowest charging in premium smartphones. No ram increase. No change in camera other than increasing one camera at a time, greedy af tim apple. Slower storage drives. No improvement in usb c speeds. No reduction of ugly island. No graphene internals, it will still overheat like the terrible 15. No front face camera upgrades, they have the worst in the market. Tell me again why are you going to pay the apple rip off price tag for less?

The teal looks great! If I wasn't obsessed with framerates, I would be getting that.
I really don't want to buy any case for it ... because I like that color so much! I have Apple Care+ so it should cover most 'problems'.

I need the Apple Watch 10 and those new AirPods 4 (ANC version), too. Wish those were in Teal, too!

I’m the type that upgrades every year (because I can/want to). Currently have been on Verizon’s program but want to get away from that. Which is typically better to upgrade yearly with; the iPhone Upgrade Program or Apple Card Installments?
I do the same. I upgrade every year (and we should not need to explain why we do it). I normally trade in my previous iPhone and pay the remining balance using the cash back that I accumulated on my Apple Card. I've never used the Upgrade program but I have used Apple card installments and I liked it. Very convenient and seamless to me.

Also, I don't understand why people are giving you angry emojis, like if they were paying for your iPhone LOL bunch of losers.

This post is only partly true.

If you want to take advantage of your Carrier's deals, for example AT&T, you can't pre-pre-order. It only lets you ask to be notified on Sep 13th when AT&T is ready to let you start pre-ordering.

they hold their value, so you can sell privately and upgrade at a limited cost (say, 1-2$ per day), maintaining warranty
