"You don't have a Grocery List"

Why not just use "Bring!"? It works fine on my S3SS..

 

Because this issue is more than shopping. You can’t add ANYTHING to ANY specific reminders list.

 

Well, I’m just be able to add an item on Apple Watch to my shopping list.

 

Ah, gotcha...

 

With out warning and after not working for weeks, I just tried and Siri added GRAPES to my grocery list!!!!

It is a miracle!

 

Just tried as well and it worked. Apple Senior Support did say engineering was working on it. Hopefully it’s fixed for good

 

This has become an issue again on my new Series 4.

 

Started a few weeks ago for me, but she adds it to the list even though she complains. It was unrelated to iOS 12.

 

Just tried it on my Series 3 and it’s working fine

 

Maybe it's related, but my grocery list stopped synching with my wife (I had shared it with her a long time ago) around the time siri started claiming I didn't have one on the Watch.

We both set up our phones as new to upgrade to iOS 12, and the grocery list came back (iCloud) and is syncing again. Also, Siri stopped complaining on the Watch.

 

And now it's working again. Must've been launch day server overload.

 

I just received my glorious S4, and while it always worked PERFECTLY on S2, now suddenly it doesnt work anymore. WTF?
Is there any known way to fix this?

 

Did you set it up as new, or from a backup? Setting up as new fixed it for me.

 

I did both, nothing helped.
Funny enough, this morning it started to work... bizzarr!

 

Do you have an MDM profile installed? That seems to be the key of the issue that I have derived.

Bumping this, as it’s happening to me with Series 4 Apple Watch and iPhone Xs, both updated fully. Any idea how to get this to work? I’ve tried all solutions listed in this thread. Thanks.

 

Nothing ever worked for me besides time - it always just started to work again.

 

Mobile Device Management profile. Usually put on if you get work emails on your phone. Check Settings, General, Profiles or Device Management

 

I have no Profiles in that setting, nor do I even have a setting called Device Management. Thanks though.

 

For me the problem has disappeared after a while. It’s super strange. I’ve been trying all sorts of add commands with Siri, eventually did it a lot of times also on my other devices and it was almost as if she learned it over time. Bizarre! Give her some time, as frustrating as it may sound... I did all sorts of resets and nothing helped, only time. (Maybe a week).

 

Interestingly enough, it now worked! Very weird issue, but I bet related to server-side Siri command recognition.

 

I always find if I have to restore my watch or iPhone or introduce a new phone or watch it always takes about 24 hrs to start working again.
