They always like the sparkly things...

Luckily, my wife prefers silver over gold....

And gemstones.

Ouch.

First and foremost, I want my fiancee to get the job that she interviewed for yesterday. That would make both of our lives much easier considering we are saving for the wedding.

Other than that...

A few DVDs
Black iPod Nano

need to keep it low-key...weddings are expensive.

I think you are gravely mistaken!!! She prefers white gold or platinum over yellow or pink gold. Tsk, tsk. Get w/ the program! :p

This thread made me seriously think that my bf was cyberstalking me. He honestly asked me yesterday afternoon what I want for Christmas! Mind boggling coinky dink.

I agree w/ a previous poster, when the pressure is on, it's so difficult to weed out what it is you want. I mean, don't get me wrong, I want a ton of things... but what I want for Christmas is a much narrower selection. Hmm, must think hard...

There was that white gold w/ 5 little diamonds ring... Mmm. That would be a nice 'bragging rights' gift. Maybe a cashmere sweater? Mm... I don't know.

Ah same for me- though I'll probably go for the single dual core G5. It's time to replace my trusty 5+ year-old G4 tower. I'll miss it when it goes though- best computer I've ever owned.

Apart from a new job, good health and to be happy?
A set of Global knives would be a good start. Go nicely with my PowerMac too :D

I also need a new pair of sunglasses...

I lost my best pair of Ray-Bans on Sunday. I was so frelling tired after walking up one of the mountains surrounding Bergen, that I managed to forget them at the bench I almost passed out on .

Very annoying as anyone in Bergen really need sunglasses for those few days a year it doesn't rain. We're actually so used to gray weather that we get practically blind in sunlight... :p

I would like a nice vacation to a warm, tropical destination with my family somewhere around Christmas. Preferably Maui. If not, then Puerto Rico is OK, too.

I would also like a nice, shiny Mac. I need one. I want one. Da desire eez buuurning.

It's a toss up between my two front teeth or a Dukla Prague away shirt...
Good Taste!!!! I just spent 120 euros on a 1988 SSC Napoli shirt with Maradona and 10 on the back its my baby. Napoli for life!!!
I want a PSP or a 20" cinema display, the old graohite ones.

A queen size bed.
Oooh... you're right! A new bed... but I don't need a queenie... just a full size or twin Tempurpedic(that way I don't have to buy new sheets).

Since the odds of my getting a Sony AIBO are pretty slim, I'll take an i-Cybie, please. A dog that doesn't eat, pee, or take a crap sounds like my kind of dog.

Oh, and Guitar Heroes for my PS2.

...although BlueVelvet's wish list sounds pretty good, too.

It's a matter of what I want, need and will actually get. So its a new Power Mac G5 dual with a 30" Cinema Display. It would be something for both my wife and I to share.

i want a new ipod but those dam scratches. I want a new photo printer, something to make my pictures look amazing and take the 8mp senor in my camera to good use. A timbuk2 bag, a vacation, new cloths, i would like the ihome, or something similar.

#1 (from Santa Jobs): Gapless iPod playback!  :D  (I've been good this year, I swear... pleeeeeeease!)

Other than that, I have about 170 items on my Amazon.com wishlist. About 10% DVD, the rest CD. If friends and family insist on getting me something (I'd be just as happy if they only sent a card to let me know they care), I tell them to go look there... at least help me whittle it down a little bit! Of course, if I get 15 things off the list each year, I'll end up adding 15 new things to the list during the following year. I'll never get that list down to zero! :p

"Santa Jobs", I like that!

But umm... $2k so I can actually go to Vienna, Salzburg, and Prauge with my symphony.

Spend time with family and friends

and a TOTALLY SWEET top of line PM with 4x30" would not be turned away.

a giant, day-after-thanksgiving-Xmas-rush MR meet up at the Apple store would be soooo cooooool.
Anyone in Houston up for it? :D:D

(I'm slightly sadistic. I like having to get into a fist fight to get the last pair of size 7 shoes for a present. :))

i want a letter from Mr. jobs telling me he will ship me all of apple current and upcoming products.....i want it signed to cuz im going to hold him to it!

yummy yum....power mac G5 & a power book
