i want a letter from Mr. jobs telling me he will ship me all of apple current and upcoming products.....i want it signed to cuz im going to hold him to it!

Well, if we are entering Fantasyland, I would like a Panasonic AG-HVX200 HD camcorder, and enough P2 cards to make it worthwhile. Oh yeah, and our troops out of Iraq (without that country imploding).

Neither of those is going to happen either. Rats. Guess I'll settle for some books and DVDs.

Have a happy one!

christmas is coming early for me ....november 22

xbox 360 :)

I also have a pre-xmas-event on the 22nd November each year. This year there won't be a main xmas-event, because I have to work (data migration never sleeps :)).

I can't think of anything I want for christmas... really, I am a happy person :p. Although I wouldn't refuse a new Powerbook, my one is now three years old and I was looking for a cool upgrade. But now I get a new bathroom first. Strange... a bathroom instead of a computer... very strange.

A set of Global knives would be a good start. Go nicely with my PowerMac too :D

I love Global knives. I have 2 and they are wonderful ;)

For Christmas, I'd like to sell the flat in Edinburgh that's been causing me hassle for the past 2 years and cut my losses on it.

On a more practical note, I don't really *need* anything so I'm just looking forward to some surprises and an enjoyable few days with my family and friends. My sister's in-laws always feel obliged to give me a present which is always some cheap toiletries that I'll never use and which I give straight to charity. I'm thinking about cutting out the middleman this year and just suggesting to those people that we exchange small tokens (like a wrapped chocolate truffle) and donate the money that we waste to charity directly.

Just a quiet time with some DVDs, books, some wine or whisky and maybe a little bag of weed...

I also like this "enjoy a quiet christmas at home, cooking good food, opening the best bottle of wine in the house, sitting in front of the fireplace watching winter movies*...".

* A "real" winter with snow outside would be nice, but that doesn't really happen here in London.

My two front teeth.

And another ear.

You're not the only one!
This pic is a couple of years old, we lived in a rental while building our present house. We laughed out loud as she lost her second tooth the week before Christmas.

;) Might happen for other people, but doubt that that would affect me. I live in 'sunny' CA and I still end up wearing 5 layers on top and 3 layers of pants in the 'winter.'

umm...i really dont know. ive gotten kickass gifts the past two years for christmas so my list is really modest this year  :p
probably world of warcraft and a 1gb memory stick duo. a tv tuner card for my pc would be nice but meh
oh, and gift cards. it's like money i dont feel guilty spending!
although once the xbox 360 comes out and i have a chance to play it any notion of modesty may vanish   ^.^

I hope they're wonderful. I'm betting yours are even better for the discount you had on them ;)
What's wrong with the flat in Edinburgh? Want to trade with a house in Spain?
The charity idea is a good one but my mum wants a nano. I won't be too keen giving her a nano and getting a choc truffle back :D

I want what I cannot have (or cannot afford)....

Dale Chihuly glass sculptures
2006 Shelby GT500 Cobra
Inuit artwork
Time.

Your Christmas List, What's In It?

Well, it's only 41 (or so) shopping days left til Christmas. I know. I heard it from my sister. She works in retail. Anyways, since Christmas (or other celebrations) are coming close, what's in your list? I'll start with mine.

Sony HTDDW670 600W 5.1-Ch. Home Theater System
Star Wars Episode III
Star Wars Battlefront 2
iTunes Gift Cards
Cash or Check

That's it. How about you?

Top of my list,

NO MORE CHRISTMAS THREADS

"official" or not.

I want time with my kids. I see them 4 times a year, but haven't been with them for Christmas for 3 years. That will do me just fine ... and this year it will happen ... :D

So ... this year for me there are no gifts and no money ... just time with people I love.
