Got a couple of Family Guy SMS tones for those interested.

Haha, i was looking for the xbox sms tones and thought this thread was bomb.com.

Let's keep it going with awesome SMS tones.
 
I have:

1) The Zelda "secret" sound (pushing a block, etc.)
2) The Zelda whistle
3) Mario Bros. 1up
4) Mario Bros. coin
5) Mario Bros. going down a pipe
6) Moss from the IT Crowd saying, "message for me!"
7) Mega Man dying from the NES series
8) R2D2 beeping

That Old Spice whistle is brilliant, if I were a guy, I'd totally use it.

Kinda disappointed. The Old Spice Whistle is the one that I wanted and it's the only one that's not working for me in iFile. 🙁

Can somebody maybe post it again?

I have
Sonic 3 act clear
sonic 2 act clear
zelda secret found
mgs codec
mgs discovered sound (when a guard sees you and exclamation mark pops above their head)
mario 3 stage clear

I had a few others that were way too long, like mario castle complete from super mario world
 
Well, I got a little clever and made custom tones for each of my "usual" contacts. And one for a general alert. I put them in biteSMS, which lets you have a specific alert for each individual contact you set.

In my voice, the general alert says, "I have a text." For each contact, my voice says, "I have a text from x."

So when I get a text I know who it is and can choose to answer immediately or wait. With the general text alert, I know it's not as important as if it is one of my specified contacts.

The only time this got strange was in a teacher's dept. meeting, when one of my fellow teachers, from about 8 feet away, texted me with a somewhat derisive comment about how the meeting was going. In a clear voice, my phone announced that I had a text from him. Needless to say, he hasn't done that since. 🙂
 
I have the old spice whistle and I love it. But it was pretty awkward when I forgot to put my phone on silent and it went off in the middle of a class with 150+ people in it... Right as my half-way decent looking professor bent down to pick up a piece of paper off the ground... She thought it was a call whistle and thought someone was mocking her. Never making that mistake again.
