1. Which MacBook Pro do you have? Mid 2010 15" 2.53 i5 AntiHighRes. upgrading to 8GB RAM and 128GB SSD drive right away.

2. Is the Pro your main computer? Do you use it along with an external monitor, another computer(s), iPad? This is both a work and personal computer.

3. Use a sleeve, skin, speck case? What kind of bag or backpack have you found suitable for the Pro's? I have a kenneth cole messenger bag, not sure about the price on their site. I only paid about 200 for mine and the gf got a free pair of shoes. Worth every penny. http://www.kennethcole.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3192011&cp=3075281

No photos yet, it'll be here tomorrow. The time is crawling...

nice setup! I got the same Dell 2007WFP, been using that thing since my original 2007 MBP! Waiting for the U2410 to drop in prices :( Also like the Z-Bar light, too bad its extremely expensive for a desk light lol

Thanks man! I prefer the minimalist approach to keep my head clear. The Dell screens are pretty awesome if you ask me. If it ever dies (which it prob wont), I will probably grab an apple screen for consistency.

1. My main machine is a 2011 13" MBP core i5, 4GB RAM 320GB HDD.

2. This is the computer I use most due to taking it to work with me.

3. For work I have a speck clear case and carry it in an incase nylon sleeve shoulder bag. At home it sits on a rain mstand and is connected to a 25"LCD (MD port to DVI adapter) with a wireless keyboard and magic mouse.

This looks like a fun thread, I'll participate!

2011 15" MacBook Pro Hi-Res AG 2.3Ghz AMD6750 blah blah

Yes, main computer, use it with Samsung 32" 720p HDTV. I also use iPad but for my fun stuff, such as casual gaming and web browsing on the bed. The MBP is used for gaming, web browsing, casual video editing, and streaming videos for grad school, since I don't attend my lectures lol. The white UMB pictured is my GF's. She also uses this setup.

I have the Wrapsol skin, as seen on the palmrest. I use a Jansport bookbag that has a laptop holder and a cheap target sleeve for added protection when transporting.

I bought a secondary 85watt adapter to leave at the desk to charge both of our Macs and I use the other 85watt PSU for when I travel with the MBP. Dock pictured is used to charge iPod Touch and iPad first gen.
Other: Cooler Master P2 laptop cooler; Razer Naga Epic + Kabuto, Sennheiser HD555

IKEA desk with 8 slot cubbies. Underneath the desk is a Brother 2270DW wireless duplex printer. GF and I brother graduated with Bachelor's from the University of Kansas. ROCK CHALK JAYHAWK!!

how much did you give for those speakers?

I apologize I got them so long ago I don't remember...maybe like 150-200? They are logitechs and have a subwoofer. They really crank and actually look pretty sick with the covers off. I'll snap a pic sometime and post.

thanks man those look pretty sick, ive been wanting some external speakers that sound good! im not wanting to spend a fortune on them though no B&W or Bose for me :(. I wouldn't mind spending 50-100 though, maybe 150 if i get the itch:D

Do they sound good while watching a movie? like filling the room with sound? not like a really 5.1 or anything, but a pretty solid upgrade from the internal speakers?

They sound like a bose system! Great high, mid, and adjustable bass that literally sounds like one of the ghetto cars you hear occasionally while driving...you know, those people you probably don't want to make eye contact with lol. You could use these as a home set-up if you needed to.

AWESOME!!!i live in a frat house and my room is literally the size of a dorm room. So a surround sound speaker system is just out of the question, and i cant afford one anyways, but even if i could i really don't think it'd fit. So do you think i could stream a movie to my tv using these speakers and be able to hear it okay?! The mac itself i can barely hear so if its decently better id be very pleased!!

2010 15" i7 2.66 and 8GB, high-res anti-glare.

Hooked up to a samsung 2443BW (1920x1200 DVI)
Logitech G15 v1 and Logitech G7 v1 via Belkin Flip KVM switch
Used in conjunction with iPad2 64-3G black with displaypad when on the go.

It's used as my main computer most days but I still have my Dell 1520 hooked up to the other 2443 and my ancient desktop running off the same two display's other inputs. Pics to be posted tomorrow.

Usually carry it in my TaylorMade messenger bag or lowepro with my 7D... Cant think of model numbers for anything right now, too much studying, will revise tomorrow.
