My desk, 30"ACD, 64GB 3g iPad, 2010 MBP 15" i7 2.66, 8GB, 500 GB 7200rpm, HR AG. Also iPhone 3GS 16GB (took picture with it) + Apple TV in the other room.
My GF desk MBP 13" 2.53, 4GB, 250GB with 23" ACD, iPhone 4 16GB

I'm a bit of an Apple fanboy as you might say. Waiting on a new desk so that I can tidy up all the loose cords.

15inch 2.2GHz Quad-Core i7
128 SSD 4GB Ram
Hi-res with Glossy black bezelled screen.

My one and only computer. No external monitors either.

dude cant you tell, those are his rear surround speakers. The sound goes over his head while he is sitting at the computer and bounces off the back wall and there are his rear channels!

You notice that his front right speaker is also touching his black monitor? Not only does that provide his right front channel it also throws a nice vibration through the display acting as a sub. Throw in the center channel coming out of the MBP and he is Pretty much dealing with 5.1 surround there

haha clever. Actually this is a 4.1 speaker setup i use in stereo. I put them up there because I set them to about 80% the volume of the desk ones (front ones technically) and it makes it where no matter where you are in my room the sound is perfectly even.

The sub is the gray box in the lower right of the picture. It's an 8 inch that shakes the building, so i'm not complaining at all :)

13" base on the way as I'm typing. Picked up 8 gigs of ram off Newegg and going to install the Intel 510 ssd bought at Best Buy. thoughts?

1. Which MacBook Pro do you have? Late 2008 Unibody 2.4 15in. MacBook Pro. I was actually the first person at my local Apple store to buy that version in 2008!

2. Is the Pro your main computer? Do you use it along with an external monitor, another computer(s), iPad? My MBP is my main computer, but It shares duties with the iPad. MBP rarely leaves the house, unless I know have do up large extensive documents.

3. Use a sleeve, skin, speck case? What kind of bag or backpack have you found suitable for the Pro's? INCASE one. I love it. Wouldn't use anything else. The inside is nicely padded, which preserves the aesthetics.

Cool thread.

2011 MBP - I bought the base model 13". 2.3Ghz i5, 320gb HDD, 4gb ramm.

This is my main computer, but I also have an iPad 2 (3G 32GB) and my previous laptop which was a Toshiba Portege R700 (but feels sloooow and dated now that I've gotten used to my Mac and OS X, even though I thought it was fab when I was still using it).

I have a laptop sleeve that I use for it but I can't remember the brand. It was purchased through the Apple store. I think it's the Incase one? I carry my MBP to work in either a tote bag or a workbag that has a laptop compartment.

don't have any pics... but i have a 2009 2.26ghz macbook pro 13" 8gb ram 250GB + 1.5TB HD. thinking about replacing the boot drive to a 128gb ssd but will probably wait it out till I buy the next macbook pro haha. don't have it hooked up to anything because that's what my desktop is for
