1: Fast and the Furious
2: Too Fast Too Furious
3: Fast and Furious - Tokyo Drift
4: Triple X
5: Broke-back Mountain
:p

I was joking. :D

The first 4 on that list, have something in common with the last one. Just the first 4 don't use it as a plot / story. They just happen to be it.
;)

Top 5 in no particular order:

1. Borat
2. Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle
3. Office Space
4. Beavis and Butthead Do America
5. South Park: Bigger, Longer and Uncut

With me, the dumber a movie is, the more I'll like it :D

My top five would have to be, and in no particular order...

1. Lord of the Rings (count the series as one)
2. Moulin Rouge
3. Cat Ballou
4. Doctor Zhivago
5. Pay it Forward

I could probably list another five easy enough, but this is what is in my head currently.

1. Braveheart
2. Papillon
3. Amadeus
4. Terminator 2: Judgment Day
5. The Silence of the Lambs (my all-time favorite)
6. Woodstock (honorable mention)

Maybe Woodstock doesn't count as a movie...more of a documentary?

Some other top choices:

Gladiator, Ben Hur, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Alien, Amelie, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy (they all are good, to me), Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back, Apocalypse Now...

I could go on for awhile...

A random selection from my top 100 in no particular order......

* Once upon A Time In America
* The Man Without A Past
* Drifting Clouds
* With Burning Patience
* The Seven Samurai
* Bad Boy Bubby
* Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolf?
* The Conversation
* Red Sorghum

That's about 5

American Beauty (Completely unique film, really makes me think)
Apocalypse Now (mostly the scene where martin sheen punches the mirror)
Cool Runnings (no matter how many times I watch it I still tear up when the german guy slow claps)
Goldfinger (nothing needs to be said about this one!)
Stand By Me (I guess you could call it a chick flick for guys)

(Alphabetically listed, I couldn't rank them if I tried)

Amelie
Secretary
Alien
Crash (the JG Ballard one)
Apocalypse Now (ReDux)

I'll look at this list again tomorrow and I'll have changed my mind, but here are five good ones, in no particular order...

  • Amélie
  • Shaun Of The Dead
  • Mad Max 2 (It was on the telly last night and is quite ace)
  • Alien
  • Leon

As I say, this list is subject to change. ;)

i feel like i've done this before. anyway, i don't think i can come up with a concrete list of my top five, but i can give a sample of five of my all-time favorites. they are in no particular order:
  • jerry maguire
  • groundhog day
  • the princess bride
  • dr. strangelove
  • that thing you do!
the last two had such an impact, it changed my life. and fittingly, i couldn't help but to watch ground hog day over and over. i love that movie! :)
