YouTube Says iOS Picture-in-Picture Coming to All US Users

You can use Brave browser on iOS for that, watch PiP and listen in the background to videos +without ads!
YouTube acts like the Mafia. The take away a standard feature of the OS you have and make you pay for it.
Youtube support told me today its rolling out slowly and to expect it for every premium account by the end of the month.
Thank the lord. Been going crazy trying to find the option or force it to work.
still going to use Cercube. he’ll majority of my favorite channels got banned from youtube so I have lately been watching most content on Odysee and Bitchute

It’s still big enough to watch a video then do other tasks such as browsing, texting etc. Plenty multitask on their phones
Yup, starting to think this is not happening, or they ran into an issue they need to fix before they can push it out.
Or, in true Google fashion, they're just taking forever to roll it out.
After all, it took over eight months for Gmail to roll out something as seemingly basic as dark mode. It also never had anything to do with an app update — it was controlled entirely on the back-end, some many with multiple Google accounts (myself included) maddeningly saw it arrive to some accounts months before it came to others. One of my Google Workspace accounts had dark mode in January, while my primary account didn't get it until June.
Incompetent company can‘t even do simple things yet they have thousands of employees.
Well, after talking with YouTube support, it appears it is already rolling out and should be out soon to premium members.
Premium user here. Still without PiP on iOS. This is not a hard feature to implement. Slowly closing in on 1 month of waiting.
It does because they are even restricting the premium subscribers on iOS.
Premium user. I don’t have PIP yet. I am running the iPadOS 15 beta 2. And regular iOS 14 on my devices. I have been checking at an alarming frequency.
