Wait a minute. If I look at the premium pricing from the web page it is 11,99 EUR.Same here in Finland. And I don’t see any option for Premium Lite in the YouTube app at the moment, just the 15,99 EUR Premium.

Reminds me of when MTV played music videos.remember when YouTube didn't have ads at all? and it wasn't called premium either
I'm in a similar situation except I occasionally use my garage TV, a TCL Roku to play music videos as well.I only watch a few YouTube videos per week, probably less than an hour total and only on Apple TV. I would absolutely pay $4/mo for ad free, not more though. There will probably never be a plan that simple though.

Well damn it, forgot the Apple tax that applies to the subscription from the app.Wait a minute. If I look at the premium pricing from the web page it is 11,99 EUR.
I know this can block ads but isn't Google aware when this happens? So if a person runs a YouTube channel who is blocking ads they can be penalised for this?I have premium lite, it’s called AdGuard. No ads, no monthly fees.
Please explain how the Brave browser eliminates ads for YouTube on Apple TV.Or you can just download Brave Browser and never see an ad again for free!
Generally, maybe. For me tho, its more like 70% TV, 30% iPad, 0.01% iPhone & Mac combined.Sure but I am going to bet that YouTube viewing via Apple TV represents .03 % of YouTube viewing. AirPlay you Mac or iOS device that blocks the ads.
Airplay seems to be the answer to that based on the responses í have seen in this thread. Please explain how the Brave browser eliminates ads for YouTube on Apple TV.
Its not because the scum bag youtubers do the Ads live in their videos now.I wonder if their "ad free" option is really ad free. Hulu charges for an ad free option, but it doesn't block all of the ads. Frankly, the Hulu ad free option isn't worth the money as you still get stuck with a lot of ads. They already have ads all over the website, so these ad free options just seem more like extortion than a true option. I'll pass....
You are still getting the same video with the same length. Many YouTube videos try to go overboard with their content to make more money from a second ad, so you are still getting a percentage of videos that are too long to get to the point. If YouTube can change that and ask for videos going straight to subscription, might help drop down length of videos, and get straight to the point.I still feel that's too expensive for ad free, even though I watch much more YouTube than any other streaming service. I'd pay around 4 euros, but no more.
