This guy Techrax is hilarious. I watch his vids for the comedy and two things stood out to me in this video:

1) when he was impressed by the unboxing of the ultra watch and wishes the iPhone had the same level of unboxing excitement, “of this GALORE” 😆

2) When the watch all the sudden went black screen and he got frustrated trying to awaken it again and then says “this ain’t gonna happen on my watch“ and then proceeds to angrily hammer the watch to death. lol I loved the pun

Very informative. I did not expect it to survive the hammer.
Apple Watch Ultra to every other watch out there:

🤣

Pointless to you but the guy have over 7 million subscribers and making bank. Who cares what he does to his own property.
I think you missed the point. He said they were pointless but the point he was making is that he enjoys them and watches them every time regardless of whether they’re pointless or not. Wake up buddy

Table Breaks Before the Watch

That title is very much clickbait.

This is clearly an IKEA table, which is just barely more durable than cardboard. Under a hammer, it would break before most things.

Yes, the watch does take a few licks before shattering, which isn’t bad.

But the title still feels like clickbait — this is not your standard “table” by any means. You’re not going to find a less durable “table” than this.

I saw another video from the same creator where he dropped the iPhone 14 Pro down a flight of concrete stairs and it did not shatter both front and back twice, despite smashing against guard rails.

Next year from IKEA: Table Ultra.

These videos are stupid. But what’s not stupid is the fact I took my Ultra off the charger at 7:45 this morning, and after 11 hours and 15 minutes, a 30 min workout then a 30 min bike ride, cellular service on, I am still at 78% battery. Battery life is absurd for an Apple Watch. It’s far exceeding the 36 hours Apple claims.

Do these characters who destroy the products get enough views that it pays for them to do their unscientific tests?
A million views is usually around $2,000 in YT (depends on content/channel but this is a good rough idea) so yes they make much more than what the device costs. Already 200k views so 50% of the Ultra Watch already recovered...

Didn't watch, won't watch.

Not sure what is more sad, the fact that people will gamble hundreds of dollars to be first and hope that they will make more on YT views and ads, or that enough people actually do watch to support such activities

Sadly many wannabe YT stars will attempt to copy these tests, lose money, and add to pointless E-waste .
