Yep, never understood the point of destroying things just to prove how durable they might be. Apple already did these tests before bringing a product to the market but for some weird reason people still keep doing these videos and I guess there is an audience for that so they monetize from it. I honestly think is a waste of resources and someone would love to have that product. Sad.
Trust, but verify.

Is this covered by Apple Care +? Would love to see the face of the guy at the Genius Bar. 🤨

So if you are caught in one of those traps from movies where the walls are closing in to crush you … the watch will also not survive. Got it

Exactly.

Usually I'd side with the majority here: Pointless clickbait video.

But this video is different because Apple makes specific claims about this product:

Looks tough.

Because it is (link)

So a video that verifies Apple's claim by showing it still works after a drop and several hammer blows is really quite useful. It backs up Apple's claim about durability. That's good information for a buyer.

For social media clicks, views and profit, I guess?

Now, how much will you all pay me, and subscribe to my channel.... since I plan to "test" the Apple Watch Ultra against the most formidable opponent: COVID-19, slayer of millions, and devastator of world economies.

Is the Apple Watch Ultra up to the challenge?!

This article is idiotic. The watch stopped working. What does it matter if this screen didn’t break if the watch is still non functional????

I just don’t understand the purpose of this article or this video. Is it trying to say that if your watch suffers a major blow, it won’t work anymore but at least the screen will still look nice?

Yet, the headline is total clickbait, making it sound like the table was damaged yet the watch was fine.

This article is an embarrassment and im genuinely considering removing MR from my favorites.

This is why I don't buy an Apple Watch. Sometimes I go up into the mountains, and I'm away from AC power and cell phone coverage for 5 or 6 days. If you are always home and have a charger, then I guess daily charging is not so bad.

Apple has the worst battery life of the major smartwatch brands. Why can't the fix this? Everyone else seems to have fixed this technical issue
