Murr420,

When you removed and reinstalled your shield was this after the screen was on you iPad for several days?

I have some spots that are near the edges that I would like to try to correct. The shield has already been on for 24 hrs.

Thanks,

Rick

I'm happy as hell with the Zagg HD install by BB on my iPad, but they used that blade too hard on my iPhone. Left a few cerrated looking edges. I'll likely go back for a redo/replace. The pad came out perfect. I love it. No gummy feel, no glare really, easy wipe cleaning, lower on fingerprints compared to the glass it seems. Makes me wanna rub it. Lol. May not be great with simple scratches like fingernail, popping out again. Just my hunch on that. Most, if not all, of the bubbles are gone in a week. Highly recommend BB to install.

You have 30 days with BB...USE IT! I think they thought I was really anal, but I paid them to install it...I'm gonna utilize the warranty that they give you on the install. Besides, when they open a new InvisibleShield, all they do is take the old one, put it back in the case and send it back to Zagg...they do the same thing with BB that they do with us...lifetime warranties (or something like that). BB isn't losing any money on the re-install.

I gotta say

I removed the old zagg and got this new HD one & I'm very happy with it

It does feel like glass & not rubber

They applied the zagg at bestbuy. It's been 24 hours and theres still a few water spots is that going to to go away ?

Yes they take longer then the old shield, but the bubbles will go away. Patience!

I had those vertical lines on my zagg HD

BUT i sold the ipad 2

Today i ordered a new zagg HD for my new ipad 3

Hopefully those vertical lines wont be on the new one

I was wondering, I have the regular Invisibleshield and it's been wonderful to me so far, but is was sort of wondering if I were to remove it, and leave it off, is it possible to put it back on someday, or does the warranty cover if I ruin it taking it off? I couldn't seem to find much help anywhere...

I had mine put on at a mall kiosk and as long as I had the original screen protector so they could send it back, it did not matter. I think the same would apply to you.

Did anyone experience streaks after installing the hd on their ipad 3? It has been 4 days since install and not there are vertical streaks down half the screen. Will I need to reinstall or will this go away?

If they don't go away in another day or so go back and get it reinstalled. I have one tiny vertical streak on mine still (maybe 1/4 inch) but it doesn't bother me. If you have a lot though I'd take advantage of that warranty and get a new shield.

Mine has a lot of orange peel effect. Yes this is the HD. Is this normal? ImageUploadedByTapatalk1339268885.689755.jpg

About a month but it has looked like this from day one. I'm not sure if it is defective or if I did something wrong installing it? Too aggressive with the squeegee? Not agressive enough? Wrong side?

Should be crystal clear. I'd take it back. I don't even notice mine is on.

Ya I'd like to know the same thing. I just got the HD (I got a replacement through ZAGG for my original invisibleSHIELD, and they gave me the $5 option to upgrade).

One think I noticed with the installation of the HD one on the front and the original on the back, is that I notice "blotches." (Not sure what to call them). I'm going to try to photograph them, but s far it's been extremely difficult. Will these go away? It's been just over 24 hours.

One more question. When I look at the screen from an extreme angle, I see these weird blue-yellowish ripples. Will those go away too?

The "blotches" on the HD go away, but it takes a few days. Have faith. My iPad was horrible at first but after maybe 4-5 days they were completely gone. The regular one is always ok at first but does get that orange peel look eventually. Then again I have a case also on mine in addition to my zagg.
