ZUM SC ULTIMATE review - highly recommend for smart cover users

I ordered the zum caes last friday but i still have not received. Anybody have the same problem? Last time was very fast, just took two days and arrived.
 
not pointing to one post or another, but I am absolutely amazed how detailed some can get about buying this simple, effective accessory. It's not a house or a pacemaker - just buy it and you'll be happy. :)

I am planning on getting this case plus a smart cover to go with my new iPad 2. I'm excited for the combination as I enjoy the minimalist looks it employs!
 
Got a knock off smart cover & back cover (pretty good quality) from a local store for $9.99. But the back cover DOES NOT fit at all!!
Not sure if this back cover works with the fake smart cover. I guess it should right?

Wow you are so cheap man! I think the only thing in concern is the size of the magnetic strip of YOUR SMART cover.. not sure if it has the same spec like the original one.
 
I've had this cover for about a month and over the past week or so, I have seen that each of the corners is starting to crack, eventhough the iPad is not thrown around or treated harshly. I'd be surprised if this lasted another month.

I CANNOT recommend this case.

4 months of hard use on the road, in and out of hotels, planes and bags, and still looks like new.

I CAN recommend this case...

I have been using the zum case for more than 4 months.. still is great shape.. why don't you just contact the seller and get a replacement? It has 1 year warranty .. have you contact the seller??
 
Just got my frost color zum case... and it is just awesome... so slim and it basically doesn't add any weight to my iPad 2

my friend has an iSkin Solo smart.. the design is something similar, but it is TPU instead of hard plastic. It looks really nice also. But the weight is an issue. It weights almost the same as the iPad 2. But I believe it can offer a better drop protection

Agree.. TPU is way too heavy .. actually incipio offers a similar case but it left a large section of the top and bottom part uncovered. Top and bottom are easily scratch during normal use

Does anyone know where to get the Zum SC Ultimate in Canada? Amazon.com won't ship it to Canada and amazon.ca doesn't have it. Any suggestions?
 
I've been using a Portenzo case since April & it's still in great shape but wanted to try something different so I've purchased a black leather smart cover off eBay & ordered a frosted Zum case from Amazon. I can't wait to try them out!

I have two portenzos (one replaced) and a pad and quill - I still go back to the zum and smartcover - it's just a better solution....

You are right. My friend just received the portenzos case and he was fairly disappointed. Way too bulky. He wanted me to order the zum case for him.
