It may be a fact that you heard that, but what you heard is not a fact.

Actually, it is a fact. You just heard from a bunch of Apple fanboys that it isn't true and believed it. On the other hand I own both and know the truth.

To be honest they are the same... i just like the ipod touches touch screen more and layout (probally coz im used to it :p ) but i say itouch because almost EVERYONE has it and if u say to somone u have a zune they r not gonna know what it is... if u say itouch people would know what ur talking about.... itouches r VERY well known mp3 players but its also a good computer and stuff and so is the zune hd... TBH i like apple because when people think of apple they think of $$$ which is like a luxurious device.... .... its like a coach pocket book and a regular one.... they all do the same thing but its more expensive because of the brand..... so basicly they do the samthing but one is more known like coach and one is cheaper and less known and people like the good brands instead of the unknown.... so thats my way of saying it!!! personally most of the stuff online like on sites have a itouch compadibility built into it unlike some other portible devices........ i go with the itouch ... i <3 mine

Anandtech ran RMAA tests that showed without the shadow of the doubt that iPod Touch sound quality beats Zune HD's.

It really amuses me how the geekish types, auto-proclaimed "audiophiles" will trash talk anything with Apple on it, without checking their facts beforehand.

jesus calm down. I don't even own a zune hell after switching to mac i will never own another microsoft product again.

I am not really an audiophile i listen to my music most of the time in those crappy earbuds i talked about and sometimes i listen to my music on my 5.1 stereo system but i can tell the difference betwen 128kps and 320kps.

apple isnt perfect no company will ever be and if you wanna be ignorant and think apple does everything right then i feel bad for you you need to have a mind of your own.

Again as much as i like no wait love apple products they always have there faults every product does.

Huh? Like I said earlier in this thread, I've owned the Zune 30, 8 and HD. I explained in some detail in several messages why I sold my Zunes and bought my first iPod ever. Actually, first Apple product of any kind since 1994. I also mentioned some of the weaknesses of the Touch compared to the Zune HD. You'd do well to review what's already been said the next time you're tempted to shoot your mouth off.

Sort of. There's no desktop software for the Rhapsody iPhone app. But playlists you create on Rhapsody.com will show up on the iPhone app, and vice versa. So, really, it syncs without any wires.

But then if you want to download that playlist (or song, album, whatever) to play it offline (as opposed to streaming) you have to tap a download button in the Rhapsody app on your iPhone. Not a huge hassle. I prefer it because I hardly ever sync my device. (I hardly ever synced my Zune either. I just downloaded right from the Marketplace on the device. Rhapsody is better at this experience.)

True. But if you're only using Rhapsody with one device, it's $5 cheaper. (I always forgot to use my Zune song credits anyway, again, because I hardly ever used the Zune desktop software.)

Ok so I downloaded rhapsody app to my ipad and I must say...I really do prefer the app and the interface to zune. The biggest thing I hate about zune is when I am out and realize I haven't synced in a while and it won't let me do anything outside of my home network.

However...I plugged the iPad into the aux port in my car and the sound quality is just really bad. I read that the downloads are only 64kbps ... hopefully they will fix this. I did end up ordering an ipod touch though so hopefully they will offer better bitrates. If only pandora would let me download..their sound quality is really good.
