Anyone regretting purchasing a gold 5s?

I purchased my gold because I loved the way it looked the second I saw it.
Finally had mine delivered today. It's freaking amazing. Not a single regret.
I bought a Gold iPhone 5 at launch.. I was planning on making it my primary device. Girlfriend ended up wanting one, and we got a Space Grey.. I ended up giving her my gold. Personally, the glamour of the gold phone wore off on me and I fell in love with the Space Grey. No regrets, but I was in a unique situation compared to most. Different people, different strokes, ya know? Girlfriend absolutely LOOOOOOOOVES the gold look.
Judging by the recent post of an eBay purchase for anything less than $1,000 I say the "fad" is not yet over.

Do you guys really think this is the case? I was thinking the same thing, although talking a new iPad here if one is released in gold. I'll be using a case so the shell color doesn't really matter, but I always resell after every couple years or so...so this would be icing on the cake.
Being related to the Kardashians in any way, shape or form is never a good thing in my eyes.

Unfortunately the Iphone already has a segregated snobby name spawning 'apple haters' so the last thing we need is to make it worse by trying to out flash our smartphone neighbours with another stunt from apple. Unfortunately I read more and more that the 5s is having quality problems with all kinds of things. One big mess in my opinion.

I honestly don't know. I actually do like the gold color. But I ordered both the gold and space gray since I thought the gold wasn't coming after like 3 weeks. gold ended up shipping and the space gray a day later. So I have the gray at my house unopened. If I open it but decide to keep the gold I'll have to pay the restocking fee.
I just feel like the black face is a little sleeker looking. I'm not unhappy with the gold I just feel like I might be more happy with the black. I'm going to go to the Apple store and do one final in store look before I make my decision.

I googled "insecure" and it took me to this thread.
I buy Apple products for their reliability. Also economic and pragmatic reasons. Dollar for dollar, they outlast everything else. Their customer service is unequaled across many industries. I wish they made cars and condoms.

it definitely is the case. Its been 3 weeks yet all the stores around me have very limited stock. But gold stock is even more limited. The last time the apple store near me (biggest in the area) had gold stock was 2 weeks ago. Itll be a good 4-5 months before gold phones get stabilized stock. NExt year when the 6 comes out, gold 5s will fetch a good $150 more
I don't care what color i get, I am secure and don't feel the need to go out of my way for a color swap, if i wanted it that bad, I will get one of the many gold conversion kits so that people can't tell the difference

More than happy with my gold 5s, it's mega subtle and looks great living in the Spigen Air frosted case.
It's a very close match to the silver, but I definitely made the right choice.
