I've only had my 6+ a day but I love it :D Coming from a 5 it's so much snappier, not to mention bigger. I carry mine in a wallet, stand case which is perfect. I could never go back to a small phone again.

funny, I came from a 5 and it doesn't seem any different in responsiveness to me - actually because of the apps not being updated, many seem slower.

Lol no way, the 6 is defitnetly noticeably snappier in every single way and form, opening up Photos, multitasking, opening apps, Safari is alot faster , how cant you tell

Facebook opens, then blacks out, then zooms and opens. Apps freeze and stop working. All in all, it's been a worse experience I think so far.

Received my iPhone 6 64 GB Space Gray today and I'm so happy with it! It's a little too big, but it's just a matter of getting used to it. Compared to a few hours ago it already feels more 'natural', so that's a good thing of course.

The design looks great. It feels very nice in one hand, especially because of the rounded edges. Though it's a little big, I don't even mind using my other hand.

And the speed... Well, I came from an iPhone 4S so I was getting blown away. What a difference! It's a huge improvement. Same with the camera. Made some comparison shots and boy do the pictures look stunning when they're made with the iPhone 6!

Haven't tested the battery life well enough at the moment. But it will take over a day to make sure it's more realistic. Because it now looks like the iPhone 6 drains quite fast, but I have been downloading a lot apps and music, so that doesn't surprise me. I will let it drain to 0% and then recharge it fully. After that it should be more in line with normal specs. I would be happy with over five hours of battery life at average to high usage. With my iPhone 4S, I couldn't get over three hours of battery life with low to average usage. :p

Anyway, really satisfied with the iPhone 6. I think Apple has done a fantastic job with this one! :D

I held and saw a 4.6" iPhone 6 today for the first time, I have to say it reminded me of the iPhone 4 I had, a sssstuning design! Well done Apple. I may take a peek at the 6S next year if they put OIS into the camera. I surely would be tempted then, but got lots of other things to spend the cash on at the mo.

Still, certainly is a lovely bit of kit.

I sized it up next to my Nexus 5 and it's much more compact, same length but not as wide and obviously not as thick, very nice design.

So, the phone was released in Sweden today! First time buying on release day for me! :D

Went to the Apple Store to pick up my reserved phone, an iPhone 6, 64GB, Space Grey. Walked out with the phone in hand after one hour of waiting. Got home, after commuting for the total of two hours. Opened the box - and guess what? The iPhone 6 was BENT! Right out of the box, just below the lower volume rocker. This was not even the 6 Plus, but the usual one. Moreover, it hadn't even been put in a pocket. That said, my happiness was rather short-lived.

I called Apple, and apparently they had separate stock of DOA-replacements (all other phones were sold out). They reserved one for me. I took the car back to the store and got my replacement phone. This time, I opened it on the spot just to make sure. It looks good so far! :) I also got an Apple Leather Case, as well as a screen protector free of charge, for compensation.

All in all, Apple managed to turn a ****** situation into a great one of joy. I received superb customer service by the friendly and understanding staff, a new phone (which I thought would be impossible on release day), a free leather case and free screen protector. I have now spent all evening setting it up and playing with it. It's absolutely amazing. Now if this phone won't bend in my pocket, I think Apple will have hit a home run with the iPhone 6!

how does it even get bent in the box? lol. it's like someone opened the box earlier and bent the phone. at least you got it replaced so easily. that's nice.

Ive had a 6 and 6+ in my hand and both devices are amazing. I still think the 6+ is way better ! Still waiting for mine to come in

Went to Apple store and played a lot with them big boys. The 6 display seemed better. Seems like its glass is thinner and you can really "touch" your content. Seems like it was printed. Fits perfectly in my hand either. But I already preordered 6 plus yesterday. Battery life, videos and a lot of Vncs are important to me, even if I can't use it with one hand. Maybe I'll change my mind and swap it for a 6, I don't know. I'd have preferred 5 inches, but hey. I'm a bit disappointed but it's only my fault. We ll see how it pans out. My girlfriend has a 4.3" Xperia so she went for a plus right away because the 6 seems almost as her old phone (Same size).

that went from horrible to much better!
I am still quite apprehensive about the bending part!

Going to pick up mine soon!

I collected my gold 64g iPhone 6 Plus yesterday after a week of some trepidation that I had made the wrong choice. Not only do I usually choose the most sober of colours, I was long convinced that my 5 was by far the best design for a phone. I am usually somewhat of a minimalist - I have my main computer as an Air 11" for example.

I chose the larger size on the belief that such a phone would finally solve the issue of taking my Air, iPad and phone travelling. The logic was fine, but once I had the chance of handling the new 6 and 6+ in the Apple store, I was concerned that whilst the 6 felt very right in the hand, the 6+ just felt a bit big for my tastes.

Well, I've had my 6+ for 24 hours now and I can honestly say it's a fabulous machine and I'm very glad I made that choice. I occasionally worry about the size but this is more unfamiliarity, I think. The screen is marvellous and although (like the iPad, in my opinion) it's still much more of an information consumption device than a creator, it has all the advantages of an iPad for reading, developing ideas and watching media.

It's really astonishingly light. I don't keep phones in my trouser pockets (never have) but in my shirt breast pocket or my jacket pocket. The Plus feels almost as light as my 5 did when placed here - one imagines the weight is more distributed - and it's easy to withdraw safely. The Touch ID is a godsend for swift use. Holding the phone feels natural now and secure - I have long thin fingers, but not an abnormal handspan for an average height male. I can use several features one handed (I find I naturally use my little finger to curl under the bottom edge of the phone providing stability) but always tended to use my 5 with both hands too so this is not odd for me.

I have paired the phone with Apple's leather case in olive brown. This sets off the gold very nicely and matches in with the walnut furniture and light gold carpets of my apartment. All comments so far remark on how elegant this combination looks - rather classic - and my concerns about the gold being too 'bling' for me have not come to pass. The case also imparts a very secure feel as it is nicely tactile and replaces the slightly 'slippery' sensation of the naked aluminium with the warm, firm feel of good leather.

For my uses, this is an excellent phone - beautiful designed and even with a case, very light. It has immediately replaced my iPad Air for travel/constant access use, and a very conservative person like me does not feel like an idiot answering call on the device in public.

Apple has done a very good job and I'm very pleased with my choice.

The 6 is the best phone I've ever used and it's not close. This baby is awesome and runs iOS 8 buttery smooth. Everything on this phone works great. I realize some people have some issues but if you do return the phone and get a new one. You can expect perfection on this phone because they do exist.

I have gone for the same phone (still on uk preorder list ), and was also worried I may have made the wrong decision. When I saw the phone at the Apple store, I knew I made the right choice. I was also thinking of pairing it with a brown leather case, and hearing your positive reviews of both phone, and case, has made me happier I went for the right decisions. I just need the phone now though lol. Enjoy your new phone :)

I guess I'll have to live with a broken screen for the next year.

Give it a couple months. There should be replacement display assemblies on the market that you can pick up for cheap, and the repair should be easy. Just two screws at the bottom of the phone and the display lifts off, with one cable connected to the logic board.

No case here. If I crack mine I'm fixing it myself.

Been over a week with iPhone 6 and loving it. I just feel tight in my hand and everything works the way I want it with instant reaction to my touch inputs. No 2-3 seconds before turning itself on or another 5-6 seconds before camera turns on like my old Note 2.

I'm starting to getting used to one hand operation and realize why people made a big deal out of it; never possible with Note 2.

The battery lasts 2 days for my usage and super happy about it too. By the way, I highly recommend the Apple's leader case, it's perfect for the iPhone. :apple:

Had my 6+ for a week now, and i've largely acclimatised to it. Its not a one-hand device but i have big hands so i can use it one-handed about 65% of the time. It fits into my jeans and regular khakis pockets just fine but you definitely know you're carrying something unlike previous phones.

Its a ridiculous beast, bigger than my Oneplus but i still like it. The screen, camera, and battery life more than make up for the behemoth size.
