I think it's called media properties in the coreplayer menu. It's showing 1280x720 for the resolution.
I followed all the steps but don't get an option to play with player when I right click the video.

I have fixed it.Which player are you using as default (top of the Players list) ?
Could you post a screenshot of your Players Preference pane ?

[doublepost=1511820029][/doublepost]Is there a way to change smtube home page?
Is there a compiled SMtube version for intel processors? So that it would work on Lion
Download the newer source here http://sourceforge.net/projects/smtube/files/SMTube/17.1.0/smtube-17.1.0.tar.bz2
Go into the extracted folder smtube-17.1.0
Note, there's a newer version now - 17.5.0
Updated, thanks for pointing that out, did a copy paste of an old post
More changes at Youtube....SMTube released new source today, just compiled it but not working - have you tried/had any luck?
Youtube working with updated youtube-dl though.
I'm not specially attracted by this app or by Qt, but I stumbled upon this ( https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/740 ) and it reminded me of this post.
It should resolve the question wether Qt 4.8.7 can build on tiger or not. Since this repo https://github.com/kencu/TigerPorts/ has it merged, it should be no more complicated than cloning it as a local portfile tree overlay and 'port install qt4-mac' as long as gcc-4.2 has been bootstrapped correctly.
Not sure it would allow building SMtube but there are good chances because it relies on the qt framework almost exclusively afaik.
MPlayer 1.3 MPKG installer without Xcode or Macports is now linked on the first post.
Excellent work @Lastic !
I noticed that while my PB is capable of playing back 720p smoothly with mplayer it is out of sync with the audio. Stepping back to 360p fixes that and it's ok.
