The grammar on the site is SHOCKING! Sounds dodgy to me.

Anyway, on another happy track, whos happy or p**sed with the possible £370 for the 8gb 3g iphone, £400 + for the 16gb....quite shocking really! :(

Wait, so my 12 yr old kid can't get one on his own like?

That means i'll have to pretend i buyin its for me self :)

Although high, those prices are well in line. Example, look at current prices of the N95 8GB: £449.95 at CPW on O2

thats a bit overpriced.
in my opinion, Nokia phnes arent even that goods.
if i coldnt get an iPhone, i would be straight to a Sony Ericsson

easy to use [and to hack] + they are cheaper then Nokias

I agree that it's pricey, and I for one will never go near N-series Nokias again. But it shows that Apple are not raising their prices over the already overpriced, too much for me, but £370 for a 8GB iPhone would not be extortionate compared to other high-end phones out there.

As for Sony Ericsson, never going there again either. Went through 4 K850i before I gave up and told my provider I want a different model and my GF has had nothing but trouble with her W910i. Most of the issues were with the firmware from what I can tell, about as stable as a mental patient. Currently got a Nokia 6600 classic, no problems whatsoever.

The N95 is a grossly overpriced phone on PAYG anyway; no way is it worth over three times as much as a N73 for £99.99 from Currys (T-Mobile), or a Nokia 6120 classic from 3.

£370! Screw that, Steve can stick his iPhone up his ass!

I am putting my money towards my DeLorean, wayyyyy better than lining Steve's and O2's pockets with even more cash.

I guess i'm going to have cash out £350 huh? oh well.
My next iPhone will be on contract with the apple carrier, for now i'll stick to vodafone on my iPhone, same service except no visual voicemail, like i even need it.

BTW, I called my credit card company and requested to cancel the payment to ohmac, I had second thoughts.

No, Liverpool, if that gives you any reassurance. ;)

If you check their trading address on google earth it appears to be a terraced house in a residential area, and their advertised business hours are 9.00 a.m. until 3.00 p.m. Very odd!

When I tried to call their number it went unanswered.

Apart from all that, how could they possibly do legitimate unlocked iPhones at that price?

Call me cynical but I just don't believe it.

I live in Liverpool, may just go scope that place out :p

Very intriguing but i'm not risking it. Good luck mmoosa. If someone lives in Liverpool, or near it, why doesn't someone pay them a visit? :) 4 hours is a bit long for me, and i don't know what they would think of a 16 year old appearing at their doorstep doubting them

That could be me lol !, im 16 as well, chinese as well lol, may do some undercover work lol ;)

Thanks, yeah I know that area, very residential, only Picton Road having shops on it. Probably a house thats rented out to students I'm thinking.

As I posted earlier, it does look like a terraced house in what appears to be a residential area (so far as one can tell from a satellite shot).

Not the sort of place that you would expect a serious business to be operating from.

I think, very dodgey.

Either going to sell people those iPhone Knock-offs, or he finds out 159 quid isn't enough and charges people more. Or runs off with your money.

That area of Liverpool, is very dodgey, it's not a nice area. Kinda like moss side in Manchester, or somewhere like that.

my friend working phone shop and she said 3G iphone won't drop price that much..
but i heard about on the 3G iphone surface made from plastic..
not sure that is ture..

As a contract phone there is a considerable drop in the price of the phone because it will now be subsidised.

As far as PAYG is concerned it looks like you will have to pay a premium not to be tied into a contract.

It has been known since the 9th of June that the iPhone 3G will have a plastic, rather than metal, back.

Just spoke to O2 and the iPhone 3g PAYG will be available to purchase from the 1st of July but delivery on the 11th July....and the price will be official on the 1st!!!

Oh god, how annoying! I can now see a flaw to my plan as i'll have to be at home all day to wait for the courier to turn up, as if its one of the stupid ones i'll have to drive to the a*se end of no-where to collect it from the depot on the saturday! And i doubt O2 will send it to my work address! It just means the queuing will now be at the depot not at the store......Or i just go to the store on the 11th and hope they have stock!

What a nightmare!
