Im pretty positive the (not willing to pay) section was actually like 100%, but they didn't want the other categories to feel left out so the spread it out a bit  :p🥳

The survey has a major problem.

What actually is Apple Intelligence ?

Is it the Image Playground, enhanced safari search results, and an unknown Siri future. I doubt that that most people would pay $10.00 / month for this.

Will Siri be upgraded to a sophisticated personal assistant. I think that many people would pay $10.00 / month for this.

I’ve paid £20 a month for chat gpt just
To see what the difference is and I can’t really tell what it is for my use case which is mainly just for improving emails.

I’d probably pay £4.99 a month but no more.

I'll tell you what, these comically bad notification summaries aren't worth a penny a month.

And I certainly don't interact with any other part of Apple Intelligence because they don't exist or are useless.

You can't be serious. A search engine serves you what it finds on the web. It isn't necessarily accurate. In fact, depending on the search engine, it can be highly inaccurate as it has you profiled by what biases you prefer to be served.
and if you use AI to search for something....where do you think it gets its information from?
It gets information from publicly available information from the internet.

I really dislike all of the AI stuff being on all Apple devices that can access the internet.

The digital button to OFF is not a confidence builder. We are UNABLE to verify that every line of AI code in all these programs that make up the various operating systems is actually inoperative. How much of our "private" information is being swept to Apple or some other entity (NSA anyone?) while we lack verification?

Is Siri really off or is just the voice inoperative? NSA has every tidbit of data since the 911 event.

What would you pay pcm for Apple intelligence?

A) yes for $10
B) yes but $50 - take my money! (P.S. my name is Tim Cook)

This is literally the only way that they could’ve got those results.

I bought a $1700 phone, they can just go ahead and put features they promised before I’d even think about giving them anything extra for that pile of BS

They were probably asked a question where they stated it would do a bunch of stuff for you, like “assist” you in feeding your children and paying off your mortgage. No way in hell would I spend a dime for dressed up glorified pattern recognition software.

I’m curious who the target group was, because these numbers are ridiculous.
People not willing to pay = 16%?
I’m dubious about the wording, frankly.

😂🤣😂🤣
Boy, boy, is it April 1st again? Paying a subscription for a local AI agent? Not on your life! And after the performance Apple has shown with its “Apple Intelligence”, I wouldn't even dare to think about it, let alone voice the idea out loud!

However, this “Apple Intelligence” is not really local. Just switch to airplane mode and try out the writing tools, then there won't be much left of the “local AI”!

I call BS. You couldn’t pay me to use Apple I at the moment. Stupid emojis and pictures shouldn’t be called AI and the writing and photo tools are meh. Have I missed anything?

1 in 2 willing to get paid at least $10/month to use Apple Intelligence.

Now we're talking.
💯 this! It’s stupid, doesn’t work, they owe me for buying into the 16 pro with this crap and now nada. Jokes on Apple as we are buying galaxy or pixel folds this summer and may pivot away from them in total after the crap they have pulled for some time now.

Not the apple I grew up loving anymore.

you can just disable it currently if you don't want it
First, I have to check that with every update and patch. Apple has a histry of ‘oops we turned it on for you, he he”. Secondly I don’t trust Apple not to take away the ability to disable it.

But what was the question? "IF Apple had something that did A, B, C, D, E and F" would you pay X? (A to F all represent really useful things that Apple Intelligence cannot do, does not do and probably will not do for at least a decade).
