Ahahahahaha pay for what???
For emojis on steroids? Please give me a break.
Apple intelligence is absolutely pathetic.

They screw up also the UI for the writing tools, who wants to pay for that rubbish! People are demented.

There’s a few flaws in this whole thing.

1. Caveated on it actually working which there is no evidence to support that outcome at this time.

2. User testimony is almost always wrong.

3. That doesn’t mean they will continue to pay that for it.

I can only suggest that Morgan Stanley are trying to stop their 238 million shares in AAPL from tanking by drumming up vague poorly defined analytical rubbish (I am formally qualified to use that term!)

I’d love to know who these pro-Apple analysts are talking to. And I don’t know what their point is about ‘non technical users’. Unless they’re suggesting those customers have a much lower bar for what they consider as good? I’m curious how often the average user is getting a response from ChatGPT vs Siri. I’m assuming the average or non-technical user doesn’t even know you can preface a question with ChatGPT to always get an answer from ChatGPT.

This tells you exactly the logic of Americans Lol. Willing to actually pay for a non-existant service that has proved itself as broken,..unbelievable 🤦‍♂️

Yes apple intelligence is Tesla FSD all over again.

Surveys and polling can be worded to get the result they want.

It seems to me that the survey is being used to influence up the price of Apple stock :).
First Point: this is why I do not take polls. They pop up on my phione, I just disconnect. Polling stopped providing reliable data back in the ‘80s when they invented Push-Polling.
Second Point: That was my reaction too. MS wanted the numbers to go up before Apple’s Quarterly Call next week.

This reminds me of the Carlin bit about the intelligence the people you encounter every day.

Did an “ai” chatbot write this article and survey? Sounds like a hallucination, or nightmare, to me.

On the other side of the coin, 1 out of every 2 do not want to pay for Apple AI. 50% rejection rate. Perspective.

How much does Morgan Stanley have invested in Apple and Apple intelligence? Nobody in their right mind would pay to use the Apple
Intelligence nonsense. Only 1 in 2 people would even use it if you paid THEM.

Professional user experience designer here that does a lot of user research; this is great example of a **** survey and they are the wrong methodology for this type of question.

I’m a huge fan of Apple products, I generally think they’re wonderful. I would not pay for Apple Intelligence, especially in its current form.

I am definitely not in the "pay for current versions of AI camp", but maybe there will be some value proposition to this...

On the other hand, as my country enters the last week of the election campaign and the two leading parties are pretty close in the polls... My first thought on this thread was inline with the comments, mapped to elections... "1 in 2 are willing to vote for...." (I will leave the details of the politics out.. not needed for this comment... it just has that same kind of astonishment reaction for me)
