kzg said:I installed the update on my MacPro 2.66 w/ stiped 2x250gb drives as a boot disk. When I rebooted it kernel panicked on startup. After going to the apple discussion boards it appears the update does not support updating FROM raid disks. The solution appears to be to boot from an external drive and directing the update TO the raid.
Unfortunately I have to wait for someone to give me my external drive back before testing it out.
Also it has been reported that people with mirrored raid, have been able to boot by pulling the other raid disk.
