10.5.8 you mean?
Yeah, that's odd. OS X 10.5.5, Finder was at version 10.5.6. Strange how it skipped 10.5.7..
No different from earlier versions of OS X - the 10.x.6 versions all arrived after about one year (except 10.2.6 which was released 8 months after 10.2.0)Yikes, these updates seem to come out pretty often.
Windows users would be on the forum all day if that were the case, seems Windows Update is finding small random updates every day.
I really hope this fixes my issues with my ATI X1900 XT graphics card. That thing has been a real nightmare at times.

After the 10.5.6 update I am still experiencing the snow on an external monitor when waking the monitor from display sleep. Anyone else still notice this?
I think that the 10.5.7 Finder update was for the Unibody MacBook's only because of the new 4 finger swipe, can someone confirm that?Yup 10.5.8:
What? Surely you're not implying that this update makes Safari "Snappier!" are you?I might be imagining this, but I'm 99% certain Safari is running 10 times quicker than it was before installing 10.5.6 - most sites are loading in the blink of an eye which they never used to.
