Yes and under iPhone Carrier Support I see ATT_US.ipcc. It's grayed out. I don't know what to do next. Any help would be appreciated.

Brian

If it is greyed out, remove it from the mounted drive and put it on your desktop first. The terminal command allows this to be opened.

I had to install, uninstall, reset network settings, install in order for tether and VVM to work with the linked file, but it is working now, thanks guys this rocks.

I don't care too much about MMS, but I cant ditch the BB Bold until I can tether, and now I can@!

Ok i got the camera and everything working and i thought just for fun i would send a pic to myself with some text under it and i received the image. Is this working for anyone else?? btw VVM still isnt working or do i still have to wait a while after doing the iphone carrier support thing?

Type the command in terminal and do the library thing.

Is there proof of this? I still get the red exclamation (and stall at 95%)

I've already done that and done the library thing 3 times now and it still isnt showing messages even when i call right after and leave a voicemail. People are reporting it showing a minute later response for the voicemail so i dont know what to do.

Did you follow my method? Did you enter all the info in the post? Leave something out? What plan do you have with AT&T?

Using this method broke Visual Voicemail and my iPhone became picky on when it wanted to tell me I was receiving a call. I had to reinstall the original IPCC file and used a different method to get tethering.

Well like I said, it worked for me and also a couple of people have reported that it has worked for them... I'm sorry it hasn't worked for you...

This is the example of me sending and receiving the picture.

xraydoc helped me out earlier when my VVM wasnt working and all I did to fix it was. Worked first time for me!

Type into the phone keypad *5005*86*{yournumber}#
Where {yournumber} is enter your 7 digit cellphone number. Don't forget the pound sign (#) at the end of the string. Then hit Call. It'll flash for a second, then Visual VoiceMail should be restored.

Tried this with my 10 digit number and my 7 digit and i still can't get VVM to work. I've tried calling it, etc. to 'kickstart it' but it nothing seems to work except when i delete the custom carrier profile, but then of course i lose tethering

I have the unlimited family texting plan. And just to confirm that it did send, i sent it to my father's phone and he did receive it, both of them.

You tried even the 10 digit # and no go?

Type into the phone keypad *5005*86*{yournumber}#
This is what I typed
Type into the phone keypad *5005*86*{7035551010}# then the talk button. it flashed then i went to my voicemail and it was calling my VM when i clicked on it. I turned phone off/on and it worked

I have a question, after doing all of this and doing the custom ipcc files and such, how do you get rid of it all, do you have to restore the whole thing or can you just delete something to get it back to normal. I'm tired of messing with VVM and sending MMS is cool but i dont really do it at all
