If you have an M2 Mac Studio you cannot downgrade to Monterey at all. Those require 13.4 or later.I would like to downgrade to Monterey too, but not sure if I'm going to end up with more issues because the Mac Studio came with Ventura 😑

Thanks, I was afraid of that. Great Mac , bad softwareIf you have an M2 Mac Studio you cannot downgrade to Monterey at all. Those require 13.4 or later.
Besides this location service bug, overall 13.5 is an improvement over 13.4.1 (c). My 2017 Intel-era iMac ran a little smoother and the fan didn’t kick in higher PRM in the past a day or two of usage. On newer Mac, I won’t go back to macOS Monterey.I would like to downgrade to Monterey too, but not sure if I'm going to end up with more issues because the Mac Studio came with Ventura 😑
da hek, I read the forum thread. The mod is like a dumb bot confident with his answers. like wtf, how dumb are you to to just declare "iT's A fEAtuRE nOT A bUG".They have like 80,000 points, ya I’m not sure if he’s an actual moderator, I’ll have to reread the thread, I thought they were though
I have 18 apps in the Location Services 'pane'. Only four are 3rd party, all the rest Apple. Agree this will likely be addressed soon. I still have not heard from one single person that this oversight did not affect after the update. Anyone? (If you're out there, please post hardware, software build#, silicone.)I would imagine we'll see a fix reasonably soon, given how significant it is to lose location functions from effectively all your 3rd party apps.
That’s good to hear. Hopefully they’ll fix the issue in a 13.5.1 release or something.FYI I was just speaking to someone at Apple Support about something else, and mentioned this issue with a "heads up, you might start seeing a lot of this". They checked to see what their systems were saying, and it looks like Apple is aware of the issue, and are actively collecting information.

16" MBP M2Anyone? (If you're out there, please post hardware, software build#, silicone.)
I really hope they'll fix it sooner. It's a major flaw. That’s good to hear. Hopefully they’ll fix the issue in a 13.5.1 release or something.
Nice. I knew there was someone out there that didn't get bit. Appears home repair mixed with Apple's update glitch results in me brain being loose with silent e's. (troubleshoot that...) Ensuing chuckle welcomed.
Hopefully by end of week. That’s good to hear. Hopefully they’ll fix the issue in a 13.5.1 release or something.
I kind of feel sorry for the person. They're obviously not thinking clearly and will probably be embarrassed once the fix is released.da hek, I read the forum thread. The mod is like a dumb bot confident with his answers. like wtf, how dumb are you to to just declare "iT's A fEAtuRE nOT A bUG".
While we are dreaming, I add ...possiblyHopefully by end of week.
I would be happy to do it but it's only for DevelopersAnyone else file bugs with Feedback Assistant? Please post your FBxxxxxxxx numbers here so we can add them to our reports as related. The correlation will help prioritize this bug.
No, anyone can use Feedback Assistant. It will give you an FBxxx number once you submit it.I would be happy to do it but it's only for Developers
When I checked how to use it I found thisNo, anyone can use Feedback Assistant. It will give you an FBxxx number once you submit it.
Hmm. Well since the betas are open to anyone, maybe you can just sign up for that to be able to submit bugs via FB assistant."To use Feedback Assistant, you must sign in using an Apple ID that’s registered as an Apple Developer, or currently enrolled in an Apple Software Customer Seeding Program, AppleSeed for IT, or Apple Beta Software Program.
The last is what I'm using already
I think they need to take you through all the troubleshooting steps before escalating it where it would even be on the radar, but I could be wrong.I think a better way to report this is by calling in to Apple support. That will cost them time and make them take notice. Also, they might have a solution that someone can report back here.
