Bingo! I bought the 13 Mini initially but returned it the next day after trying to take some photos at the zoo and realized I could only go 3x zoom. Loving the Pro but have FOMO for the 13 PM lol.

I would love a Mini Pro, but the only time we’d see a device like that would be with a flippable/foldable form factor.

Honestly screen size wise between the pro and mini it is NOT a huge difference. I have both phones. Use for various occasions. Not great Vision either but not real issues with the trusted mini. It’s so light !!!! 🪶

Did you replace the Pro Max with the Pro?

It’s manageable, but not my preference. My dream would be everything about the iPhone 13 Pro but shrunken down into the size of the 13 Mini. I chose to get the features over the size though. I wish Apple would’ve at least kept the smaller Pro models at 5.8” instead of 6.1”.
This would be my dream phone.

I’m hoping that a future SE is at the 5.8” size. Otherwise I don’t know what I’m gonna do after my 13 Mini is due for an upgrade, which hopefully won’t be for another 3-4 years at the very least, or perhaps even longer.

I have S22 Ultra and 13 Pro is lighter than Samsung (229g vs 204g)
But Samsung is much larger so that weight is not as noticeable and it is very nice balanced...13Pro is kinda heavy on the top just like S21 Ultra was.

13 Pro is quite heavy for its size and it is the one thing why i still do not know if i want to try it or not...Samsung justify it but its size.
But 13 is "meh" and mini si cool but in contrast with S22U and being used to big screen...its too small...Decisions decisions and first world problems i know :-D

Hello from Beautiful British Columbia. B.C. is what most of the the world knows our geographical location as.
I’m stoked to find a proper forum where iPhone
Topic: Aluminum vs Stainless Steel.
No two people are the same (including twins), so why does an iPhone Loyal have to go with the heavy body? Some people work in construction and others work in an office setting.
The screen size is tight. We all like the precise choice. However, going from a smaller size(less likely to get crushed in the field) and simultaneously the Noticeable Weight increase(multiple times per day, is a bit much.

This is for those of us who do not have an office type job. It is Not a comparison, but possibly we use our iPhones differently at work.
For example: I had to crawl into and though an 18” corridor to find a mislabeled Electrical connection. I took a picture so there is Nothing Lost in translation.(pens snap easily in this situation….in our pocket)

Why Not have the option for Al or SS body on a 1200$ Plus electronic device?

Also; I’m not oblivious to the fact that the Brick(I13) suffers from additional weight due to an excellent battery and several other internal components that have superiority over others. The shell swap seems like an easy way to lighten an otherwise worthy Cellular Phone that costs 1300$

Hi all,

I have had an iPhone 7 for the past 5ish years now and have absolutely loved it. It started failing on me Christmas Day and I decided it was time. I ordered the 13 Pro and it came today. All the improvements are nice like a WAY better camera and nicer display but I actually have hand strain from reaching around the display with how big and heavy the thing is. It just seems so big... Did anyone else have issues at first and just get used to it over time? It really is a two handed device to me which I am not used to. I am thinking about going to a 13 mini. Any thoughts?

Yes Pro is just too heavy and bulky, just wait for the 14 non pro max. Wait unit year 2024 September it should drop to a reasonable price after 16 comes out lol xd

I had the 11 Pro and while it wasn't bad, I could feel a noticeable weight difference in my pocket and that was at 188 grams. Once I saw the 13 Pro was heavier it was a no go for me. I'm sure I would've gotten used to it but I used the 12 and love the lightness, so the 13 was perfect. If the 14 Pro is a bit lighter I may try it. I loved the colors but the weight was a factor for me.

Heavy??? Ok… your joking, right? If you think it’s heavy, then you suffer from Wussatosis! LOL

I have the 13 pro max, the weight is just right. The only way to shed weight is to make a plastic phone, we don’t want a plastic iPhone, if that’s what you have in mind.

Well, the OP did ask for "any thoughts?".

Yes, that's what the forum is for. However, the amount of threads bordering on troll this days, one easily assumes wrong.
Well, OK, I get that, but I didn't get that impression at all, especially considering the OPs subsequent comments in this thread.
I'm relatively new here, and have only had a "smartphone" for 6 months (@ 70 years old!).
I like to think of this place as a bit warmer than that.

Heavy is a 100% subjective word. To give your opinion, you don’t need to try to invalidate others’.

I believe OP’s question was not really how to shed weight, but just if others have had the same issues and gotten used to it. But to respond to you, the other ways to shed weight are to get rid of the glass back if wireless charging isn’t a priority (or if there’s a way to do it without glass), or simply downsize the phone. These, or even plastic, are not invalid preferences, though likelihood is a completely different story.

Arguably, any current sold iPhone are not even considered heavy by standards back in 2007/8. People just like to complain at times for no reason.
Who complains for no reason? People complain because they have complaints, whether big or small/petty (subjective). Also in this case, are you saying OP’s wrist pain is “no reason”?

Yes, that's what the forum is for. However, the amount of threads bordering on troll this days, one easily assumes wrong.
Not quite sure, are you saying OP asking if others have had the same issues but gotten used to it is borderline trolling? Weight is a very common complaint about phones these days, by the way.
