Wrong ‘going back’
They mean legacy technology. And they never ever have gone back.
Scissor Keyboards were their legacy technology, and they went back.
And function keys were their legacy technology, and they are going back.

I bet he is right.I'll bet you are wrong. Maybe in 3 or 4 years, when software developer have caught up. But not this year.
You mean monitor. And unfortunately they “over made” it...let’s hope this time they go for a more “appealing to the masses” approach...They brought back the scissor keyboards because users wanted it.
They brought back the tower-style Mac Pro because users wanted it.
They started making monitors again, because users wanted it.
I think removing the Touch Bar is a bad idea. It doesn’t hurt being there or take away functionality for the People that dont use it.

These monitors are something I really look forward to, and I loved my old TB Apple monitor. There was a rumor within the last week of a new lower-cost monitor coming. The rumor arrived at the same time as all the other rumors within the last several days, so perhaps you missed it.
You talk on behalf of whom?Dumping the touchbar is everything for us to start purchasing the Pro models again. Until then, we’ll stick the Air.
I use a 2018 butterfly and it works fine. I even appreciate it’s “stealthy” feeling. Problem is/was poor durability.Did you ever try and use one of their 'magic butterfly' keyboards. They went back as the newer version didn't work! And all other keyboards still have function keys (including many of Apple's) so it's hardly going back. They are just dropping something that doesn't work, albeit some have found it useful.
While there might be millions of USB-A devices, USB-C is undoubtedly the future. Apple jumped with this sooner than they needed too, but isn't that often the case?
I really can't see MagSafe coming back on a MacBook, but out of the ones mentioned it probably had the best bet. Not a chance of seeing USB-A or HDMI though!
Just meant they’ve not done it yet, because I’m very eager to get one of those myself...There was a rumor within the last week of a new lower-cost monitor coming. The rumor arrived at the same time as all the other rumors within the last several days, so perhaps you missed it.
For me personally...never has any of those things ever happened, let alone be a problem. This is absolutely false. Do you know how many times a day the average touch typist accidentally triggers touchbar functions because Apple didn’t make the touchbar pressure sensitive? Or how many times a day people who would otherwise never have to take their eyes off the screen are forced to look down at their keyboard to find a key they would otherwise be able to automatically reach for?
Touch Bar absolutely makes the machine worse just by being there.

Here for example: https://www.apple.com/feedback/Where can we go to make Apple aware that there are quite a few people who want to keep charging using USB-C and also the Touch Bar?
Subjective opinion. I like the Touch Bar. I know how to use it. I never accidentally bump it. But that's my subjective opinion. This is absolutely false. I bump it constantly in autocad [the escape key is used a lot], and have had to customise the layout of it as drove me mad. It’s fine since I did the customise however.Subjective opinion. I like the Touch Bar. I know how to use it. I never accidentally bump it. But that's my subjective opinion.
Tal cual lo que dices, arriba ColombiaThe 16 inch is what I am interested and holding out for but unless that thing just WOW's the ---- out of me. It will be next year or next M-whatever revision.
My current i9 8Core has not done me wrong or let me down.
The 4 USB-C ports are good but an SD Card slot would be nice. My cameras are USB-C but I prefer transferring from the card itself rather than having to have a pretty large camera or 2 sitting on the desk.
