Yes, I got the 8 core option. I’m sure Lightroom will run better than on the 12” MacBook, I’m planning on the 14” replacing both my iMac and MacBook.

The 12” MacBook is such an underrated machine. I think the current MacBook Air is the spiritual replacement.

The 12 inch MacBook is my all time favorite laptop and I’ve owned a bunch of 15inch pros over the years. I just wish they would take that small footprint and update it with apple silicon. I’d much rather that then the bulky pros they’ve given us. I really hope when they re-release the Air it is back to that sub 2 pound weight.

The portability was incredible and I’ve used the MacBook 12 professionally for years. Sadly it’s just too slow now. F&ck

It would be interesting if they drop the “Air” and just have a 12” and 14” option for the redesigned 2022 MacBooks. Though, I know most would hope for 14” and 16” options, there.

I always thought the 12” was a nice model, but I was not in need of a new machine when that was the current generation.
