They're calling it Thunderbolt.

Yeah, they give you one Thonderbolt with each MBP :)

Can't wait for store to come back up

I want to see the true list of specs in English. Quad Core, 4gb ram minimum sounds very nice. Really closing in on the desktops. Let's hope the 13" gets the same. :) 15" and 17" are rather big in my book, for true portability. I am now tossed between an iMac and macbook pro.

Wonder if the iMac will indeed be updated today?

I may have a job soon - so you know a new computer may be in the plans. I love my 2008 white macbook, and it runs great. But I need more hard drive space and also more ram. Holding off on both for now. If I am going to spend $200 or so on an upgrade... May be just able to hold out a little longer for a new machine...
:D

No I got it, I wasn't the jerk-off that made the post with all the elipses!!! GD I'm ready to buy my new Mac!! Argghhhhh.

Oh, anyone have SSD recommendations cause I don't wanna BTO. From what I've seen the Intel and OWC's seem to be favorites

SuperDrive? 16GB SSD for OS X??

What the heck is going on around here?! Oh, that's right... it's a rumors site. I'll wait for the store to come back up before making any analytical leaps :)

Dual Core is typo - sure :)

But if this turns out to be true I will be doing my shopping soon!

GPU was the only thing on the 'meh...' side - but with 6750 1Gb I am all in :)

I use an OCZ Vertex 2 160GB SSD in the macbook pro 15", works amazing.

If only they could fit quad core into the 13... We'll have to see what the future holds for that one.

I would pick up an RME LightPeak interface in an instant. More lightPeak please!!!

Absolutely!!! My Fireface UC is the single best piece of gear I've ever purchased!!! I run live guitar looping, via a MIDI foot controller, on my old C2D desktop in Ableton Live at 64 samples no prob...with only one gig of ram!! Lightpeak implemented by RME would KILL!
