can't wait for the flame, after store is up

IMHO, it really looks like the new 15/17" MBP will not be that bad (spec. dump) after all, at last for me... it could be much worse

Also hope, the other localizations for EU would be available soon after "EN" ver., any experience with this guys? Could they be already shipped, or will there be a delay? For country with no Apple store, just APR stores arround...

I'm really hurtin' right now. I have the 2010 17" and I love it to death, but god damn if these new specs are blowing me away. Quadcore and 6750m ahhh

Mine is about 4 months old. I wanted to wait but I needed a laptop for school and had to have it then. Glad I did not wait because this thing has saved me countless hours and trips to the library and cyber lounge. But I can always buy another and give my wife my mid 2010 15in i5. She said she does not like MAC but she been sneaking on mine more and more lately.

I'm just wondering so we can't hook up the external display and use *a future* thunderbolt usb drive at the same time?

I'm anxious to see what apple does. I have no plans on buying anything but it will be nice to see the update.

I'm not entirely sure about a quad core in a laptop, I wonder how the battery will perform. I'm content with my 13" C2D MBP that I picked up last December.

So as a general rule, are AMD mobile GPUs better/same or worse then nvidia?

This will be good news to a lot of people. Even though, some will find something else to complain about.

Man I'm wondering how hot it's going to get. My 15in i5 gets hot now. But it may not be that bad.

If you have a mid 2010 i5 or i7 I would wait for the redesign.

I got the 13, actually the only thing I (REALLY) wanted was the 15 high res, if i had it i would skip this...
If it was know i'd have bought the 15 high res and be done with it!

Considering optibay+SSD vs selling the 13 and getting the 15(high res).

But knowing the next is a major redesign makes me wonder...

I didnt want a quad core in a bigger heavier laptop i also wanted it to bake me pie and cure terminal diseases....apple fail:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

:p:p

The specs look rather good. I wonder how much more expensive the 15" 2.2 will be compared to the 2.0. I wouldn't mind 1gb graphics for ~ $200 more but I couldn't really care less about 250gb more hdd space or 0.2ghz faster cpu.

If this image is real, where is the 17" with SD card slot?
