I think there will be a Nov. event - there are just too many products slated for release!

Don’t let me down, Tim Apple.
There's only one product slated for release, the Mac Pro. Everything else is a RUMOR. And when the November event doesn't come to fruition, maybe they'll be a December event. Or a January event after that. Or a February event when none of those pan out...

I already did. The image shows that keyboard itself is a butterfly keyboard which is not a reliable source. Why would they keep using that for? It is well known that the butterfly keyboard is very unreliable and fragile that Apple has to pay for repairs.
The image came from no-one else but Apple. It literally is in public release of macOS Catalina 10.15.1. Go find it yourself, the path is: /System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/BiometricKitUI.framework/Versions/A/Resources/BKUI-Dynamic-FunctionBar-Image

Plus you can't tell if they changed the key switches by looking at just the keycaps.

Softer to type on. Definitely. No sticking keys. Not as annoying to use as the other two keyboards which I absolutely hated.

Nobody is going to believe me, but the 2019 keyboard is an improvement. As far as Butterfly keyboards go, Apple got it right this time.

Still, not my first choice. I would want a scissor-type mechanism beneath my fingers. However, it's not going to stop me from buying a 16" MBP if it still has this improved iteration.

It would be interesting to try one. I almost whiffed on my i9 iMac for a 2019 MacBook Pro, but decided not to tempt fate. My biggest gripe is the key spacing and I can tell from the photo in this story and looking at my 2016 MBP that the keys are spaced further apart.

Question, guys...

Why are those images buried in there in the first place?

I know Apple isn't screwing with us just to promote rumors. That's a little too undignified.

Why are those icons in there?

And while they're at it... release a %#&$ external keyboard with a touch bar. It saves me countless hours, but it's no good to me when the MBP is docked to an external monitor.
Curious: what do you use the touchbar for that saves you countless hours?
I just find it an annoying distraction from keys that used to have useful, direct functions...

Go to the Apple store and try it.

Really, I owned the 2017 and 2018 MBP so I have something to compare it to. The 2019 Butterly keyboard is much better in comparison.

Yep, the image is here... Looks like the MacBook Air but with a Touch Bar. Not bad! Just make a more comfortable keyboard. My 2018 has been perfectly reliable but I dislike the feel.

Macbook pro is still a joke compared to what it used to be in 2015. They took away magsafe & useful ports, reduced battery size, made the keyboard total sht, made RAM & SSD soldered on, and replaced widely-used keys with a gimmicky touchbar. All in the name of a couple of mm thickness and a couple of ounces of weight.

And..... It has a touch bar.

A disappointment unmatched by anything except for when the other half of the photo is released, showing that it indeed does not have an "ESC" key. We know it deep down inside, but we dont want to admit it.

Will my Late 2013 macbook be the only Mac i ever own? It is seemingly more and more likely!

I hate to say it, but maybe my next machine will run Linux?

I have a 2012, a 2015 and 2016 and I score nearly identical on typing tests (33-34WPM), so I have as much to do with things as the keyboard. Typing this on the 2012 right now, and it's just flat and mushy. I need to pack a Magic Keyboard so that I always have with me! LOL!
