Yes they are IMHO just wait and incorporate them into major updates

So going by that thinking Mac OS 10.5.x updates are also dumb then? Just because the issues it fixed doesn't effect you doesn't mean its not hurting someone else's iPhone experience.

Also, I don't understand what people want Flash for, other than simply to say it has it. 90% or more of the Flash content out there is useless crap like banner ads or worthless UI elements that do nothing but look pretty and hog processor cycles.

Uh no, it's not about bragging. It's about being able to watch online streaming videos. I'd be willing to put up with the crap banner ads to watch hulu or icenetwork.com, and I'm sure UK posters would appreciate the BBC live streams. Maybe not you, but that's why Apple should make it optional.

I'm tired of people saying flash shouldn't be allowed when like it or not, it's part of the full online experience.

Its located somewhere like MacintoshHD/Users/Yourusername/Library/iphone Or itunes then iphone or something like that if I remember right. I'm using my Mac that I don't plug my iPhone into currently.

Uhm, ok. When saving a photo you got e-mailed to a 2.2 phone, the photo gets messed up.

Why should I wait through a few more months of messed up photos? For your amusement?

Speaking of that... why didn't this update come out a couple weeks after 2.2? Why did they wait this long?

That's what I was wondering. This should have come out 1 week after 2.2 since that's apparently all they really fixed. Safari stability? That's code for "we wanted 2 items on the list since having just 1 looked silly."

OS X point upgrades usually have a lot of fixes in them and rarely if ever just 2

The issues affect me but i still...

What is this update weighing in at?

So you'd rather wait with a few little glitches, that could be fixed in a small update, for a major update that could be many months away?

Where is your logic..

Ah but you did wait a few months. Its not my amusement. Why not fix these two bugs a week or so after the 2.2 update why wait this long for a point upgrade i guess is my frustration.

Im all for bug fixes but if these are the only two things they fixed why not release the update a week or so after 2.2 why wait 2 months.

Apple isn't forcing you to update you know...

You don't say

Do you really care for the reason why? Really, who cares?

Warning For Yellowsn0w

Warning from the dev team it appears this will break the yellown0w unlock wait for the devteams notes.

Well, I guess it is time to lose my JB applications and do a full restore. Pity, I do like having a mobile terminal; but I think having a more optimized OS is worth the loss.

So now that the USB drivers on Mac OS 10.5.6 are purposefully designed to cause an error for the "Pwnage" series of programs, what will everyone do if a new 2.2.1-compatible JB procedure is released? Flash under Windows? Or does using a powered USB hub work? I've always been a little sketched out by the idea of flashing something with a USB hub--it seems that most hubs really, really suck when it comes to real-time connection reliability, latency and constancy of USB bandwidth.

The USB Hub works. I have read stories about the macbooks freezing/locking up due to the file mods that people have been using for a workaround. I just use the HUB.
