Thats way i loved the first deal i found, give me a little time and i will search for a better price.... Best i could find is 59 bucks 2G Stick http://shop2.outpost.com/product/4885080?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

Thanks!
I guess I'll just go ahead and buy from newegg, which is the cheapest I can find at the moment. I wish I had bought my macbook 2 weeks ago so that I could've get the same deal!
Oh, well, at least i know the Transcend ram works well with macbooks.

did you notice a huge difference between 2 and 4? I'm trying to decide whether or not to make the plunge.

I had 1G, before I but 4 in, the CPU useage was always spiking on leopard, this makes it so very quick and you cant beat the price i paid that for
2G the first of the year...

Are you sure it would work? I was under the impression that each slot in MB/MBPs can take 2 gigs max.

Some places refer to the ram as DDR2 PC2-5300 and other as just PC-5300.
Is this the exact same RAM and would perform the same?
Thanks,
chris

If this is the same memory thats on NewEgg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820208323

Then this memory has received from killer reviews. I'm not sure whether to wait for black friday for lower prices or grab this now. I've never seen a price this low.

I was all set to pick that up, but it's now out of stock. But, they lowered the price on this:

...but I decided to wait a bit till I upgrade.

Noob question -

Got a Macbook in October of this year (2.16ghz, 1 GB RAM)... can I max it out at 4 GB of RAM? I'm working with HD video and would love to go with 4 GB of RAM

And if so, which of the recent deals above should I go with? (which is most compatible?) Thanks!
