I didnt really see it either but I bought a Sirius Radio Sportster for my car on black friday and I listened to like all the NFL games at once. But mostly the Panthers Bills game. One cool thing about the sportster is that it has each game twice, one by each team's broadcast crew

I thought about getting that but I would only really use it when the Bears are away, otherwise I get to see the game in person.:D

Although it would be nice two be able to listen to the other games after/before the Bears games. Would you recommend it?

Unfortunately I agree.. with the injuries and loss of coaching, this is definitely proving to be a tough year for the Pats. But that's ok.. if one isn't a bandwagoner, one should be very accustomed to "tough years". :)
Thankfully, I never proclaimed myself a Pats fan, merely a well-wisher. :D
Plus, I made $5 when they beat the Steelers last year.

I am watching Arizona vs. Niners, FOX is bugging the crap out of me, their sound on the HD feed is ****** for the game, its causing my center channel to crackle. Commercials are fine.. just the game... then again maybe its comcasts fault, anyone else noticing this?

oh yea.. GO NINERS!!! I really wish they would not be the conference doormat in a season :)

go bears, 8 straight win, if the offense can't score touchdown let the defesne handle it.

It was a great game to be at but the offense is going to need to get more sooner or later. My guess is that we could see Rex get a chance if he can make some progress in practice and the offense can't do anything against the Steelers. I think he'll be able to get them downfield as long as he can get a rythm going with the O-Line and the receivers.

It was also good to see the defense hold the Packers to one touchdown and finally prevent him from throwing for a touchdown. Wins are always good, wins against the Packers are even better.

I'm rooting for them to at least finish the season undefeated to make the 72 Dolphins worry. Some of them just seem to arrogant for me, but I guess that can be good. However, to all you Indy fans, you better watch out February 5th when you'll have to face the mighty Bear D.:D

I don't support playing REX unless Orton goes do, NO MATTER what. At the moment Orton has more NFL experience than Rex. In my book, Rex and Orton can compete for the job next spring, and whoever has a better pre-season is the starting QB. I just think that if I was Kyle Orton, and I got benched after 9 wins, and put in Rex, and rex gets hurt, and I tried to put Orton back in, I'd play horribly to hurt the team that screwed me.

Well since this is NFL and not grade school football I have to disagree. It is the goal of the coach to put the best players on the field, something Lovie Smith has said again and again. If Orton is childish enough to play bad on purpose he doesn't deserve the chance to be playing in the first place. It's a team game. He should be in favor of playing the player that puts them in the best position to win games. A few weeks back I remember reading an article in which Orton agreed saying that the coaches should put the play which ever quarterback the choaches are more comfortable with. And Orton really can't play more horrible then he has the past 3 weeks. I thought the game against the Lions would be his breakout game but ever since then he has gotten worse every week. The Bears may be 9-3 with Orton, but he hasn't won them one game. He has minimized his mistakes pretty well with a few slip ups here and there but going 6 for 17 with 68 yards passing and a 23.7 quarterback rating against one of the worst teams in the league isn't going to cut it come playoff time.

And you'd never play in the NFL again.

I couldn't agree with you more... it was a privilege to watch Bret (although he had a horrible game) because it most likely is his last game at Soldier Field. It was great to see the Bears win but that offense has to turn it around because it's pityful

Lol, i dont think rex grossman could do very much anyway
Just wanted to point out Rex's stats against the Packers last year.

10 for 18
132 yards
1 Touchdown
74.3 Quarterback rating
At Green Bay
Terry Shea as offensive coordinator

Orton's today
6 for 17
68 Yards
23.7 Quarterback rating
At home
Ron Turn as offensive coordinator

Now I'm not bashing on Orton because it does take a lot to win an NFL game but if the Bears are going to go anywhere in the playoffs they're going to need more from the offense. I hoping Orton can go back to the first half against the Lions from a few weeks ago. If he can do that they will be a very hard team to beat.

And in other news, the Vikings won yet again - that's 5 in a row now! Sure, it was against the Lions, but still, I wasn't expecting them to go from 2-5 to 7-5. Not that they'll make it far, but still, somewhat surprising nonetheless.

I have to give it to Brad Johnson. A lot of people were thinking the season was over and Tice would be gone at the end of the year but they have a chance at winning their division without Moss or Culpepper.

I don't know if they'll beat the Bears for the division title, but they're definitely in contention for a playoff game if nothing else! Yeah, Brad johnson has been pretty impressive, although Edinger has saved their ass a few times, as well as their defense. And then of course there was that game against the Giants when they made NFL history... ;)

Very good point....I say you keep Orton in until he loses, or if he throws more than 3 interceptions before the second half of next weeks game against the Steelers.

Whether you support Orton or not, his numbers were horrible, even for a rookie. Hopefully he picks his game up because I don't think Rex is quite ready to play yet... or so says the Bears coaching staff. I don't want to have Rex to rush into the starting position not 100%... Keep Orton in until we lose on his behalf or he continues to get worse

Brad has definitely been the second half MVP IMHO... I loved Edinger in Chicago but now I guess I can't since he is a Vike...(but I secretly cheer for him)

I'm looking forward to seeing Vick against the Bears D on a Sunday Night game.

Never count Vick out. But yes, those games are definitely not going to be easy ones. Let's say that the Flacons will earn their way into the playoffs as a result, if they do indeed make it. ;)

I think I stated my point wrong. First off, if Orton gets pulled for Grossman before he loses a game, he's going to get a bad attitude. It will hurt his mental game, period. Its fine to be a critic of Orton, but with Ron Turner calling the plays I don't quite think the offense will ever click like you guys might expect. I've seen ron turner coaching and ron turner offenses for first hand, and it was god awful. I think if Orton was pulled, Grossman put in then Injured, theres no incentive for Orton to achieve, he's relegated to backup on the bears.

I'm kind of sick of this fantasy view of Rex Grossman. When I say fantasy I don't mean Fantasy Football, I mean this illusion that he's the best thing since sliced bread. Grossman has played a total of 6 NFL games. He does not have NFL experience, sure he sits in on meetings and has watched tons of tape.

Rex Grossman has played 6 NFL games (two seasons), thrown 3 TDs (1 rushing), 4ints, 71.1 Rating. Those stats are not great, so lets stop pretending like they are.

Kyle Orton has played 12 NFL games now, these are the stats through the first 11, thrown 9tds, 12 ints, 62.3 rating. The numbers are not that far apart, its not like we're benching peyton manning to start Kyle Orton. Rex Grossman might end up starting next year, he might become a great NFL quarterback, but up until now he's not great, he's a bust, the only thing I'm looking forward to is that he should have a chip on his shoulder and he's going to have to compete to start next year, he should not be an uncontested starter under any circumstance (if orton died someone should be there to challenge)
