Here comes all the colts bandwagoneers!!!!
You know it is funny that you say that. I have been a die hard Colts fan ever since they moved to Indy. (home team mentality) and I have stuck with them through the bad as well as the good. I went out to the mall the other day to do the dreaded holiday shopping and couldn't help but notice the increase in Colts wear. It kind of ticked me off, yet it also made me feel good that the colts are finally getting the credit they deserve.

BTW, Just judging from your location can I guess you are an Eagles fan? They are my team of choice in the NFC.

So much for the first place Defense in the Chicago Bears...Hopefully they will rebound next Sunday night when Michael Vick and his Falcons come to Soldier Field

I was at a Colts game last year and was amazed by the amount of stuff in the Pro shop across from the Dome. The only store I've seen that had more team gear was the Packers store at Lambeau Field.

I think I'd like the Colts more if they looked a little happier and less clinical. Manning doesn't seem to take any joy in the game.

Some surprises results this week; I've gone from 15 and 1 on my picks last week to about 60% this week!

The Browns played the Bengals closer than anyone thought; is Frye the real deal or were the Bengals just having a downer after last week's excitement? The Patriots seem to be finding themselves again. Miami were downright astonishing in San Diego - with it now looking like the Chargers won't make the playoffs, will that make it easier for them to trade Brees (or Rivers) in the offseason?

I hope my team (49'ers) won't end up being the conference doormat next season. Smith has some genuine talent, I just hope the offensive line will give him some better coverage.

My prediction is that the Colts will go down in flames during the playoffs, i dont think they can handle Seattle.

Yeah, really surprised to read about the MIA/SD game. And what about the Giants/Philly game. Who woulda thought the Eagles could make such a showing. Injury plagued, dropped 6 of the last 7, hammered by Seattle on MNF but they came out and almost pulled it out.

'Skins won (which they should've against Arizona) and kept their snowball's-chance-in-hell playoff hopes alive.

I just don't see this happening.... The Colts offense is way to good, and the difference between this years Colts team vs. last years is that this year the Colts have a good defense

That Colts-Seattle game in a couple weeks should definitely be a good one!

And once again, Minnesota won. That's 6 in a row! Who would have thunk it...

I really think that could be the game for the Colts to loose. The only reason I think that is they will have home field clinched and won't want to injure anyone. But a lot of people were picking them to loose this game too so who knows.

As for Minnesota, they're going to make sure the Bears earn that Playoff spot if they get in. They could be tied for the lead in the division this time next week.

Yeah, I think if they're going to lose a game, it will be that one. And even if the Colts win, I think the Seahawks will make them earn it.

Yeah, they've been pretty impressive as of late. That last game of the regular season between the Vikings and Bears could definitely be a better one that a person would have thought a few weeks ago. ;) It will be interesting to see how Minnesota does against Pittsburgh next week...

Yes, I am a diehard Eagles fan, we had a pretty good run. I am starting to see some Colts stuff here in Pa now, everyone is a colts fan now I guess.

I hate it when teams get hot and people jump on them until they cool off. I dont see much Eagles stuff worn now that they had an extremely off season. I still wear my Eagles stuff EVERY day....

It'll be tough for the Bears if they don't win this game against the Falcons. Both teams will come to play and you can never count out Mike Vick. I think with it being in cold weather, at home, and and national TV the Bears will be able to come through. Then there's Green Bay. It's never is to win there with Favre at quarterback, especially for the Bears. I think they'll be able to win both those games and somewhat cruise into the playoffs. However, if they slip up in one of those games the last game will be a very good game.

a bunch of great games today. the chiefs/cowboys and browns/bengals games were awesome. and the steelers finally got their sh** together.

according to espn, the chargers and chiefs losing gives the steelers the last playoff spot as of today. woot.

I'm getting a little concerned about Smith. Yes, he didn't have many receivers to throw to today since they were down to the guys usually on the scount team, but he seems to have developed a worrying tendency to just drop the ball. It's happened in the last few games that I've listened to and Joe Starkey's brought it up again yesterday after he did it twice against the Seahawks with no-one near him.

My friend is a Vikings fan; she's a little worried that it means they won't be able to get rid of Tice now since she's sure this winning streak has less to do with him than anyone else.

Felt sorry for Chargers and Chiefs today; I much prefer watching either of them to the Steelers. I just think they play a more attractive game.

Yeah, I could see that - Tice hasn't really done much for the team since he took over. However, in many cases, I have seen it where a team has done bad and the coach has been fired as a result, when it hasn't been the coach's fault, so maybe this will be the opposite, where they will keep the coach because the team is doing well, even though, as you say, he really has nothing to do with it. ;)

Dude, I feel so bad for you. That was a crippling loss yesterday to NY. Well. hopefully they can get healthy and make a run next year. So what do you think NY Giants/ Indianapolis Colts superbowl? Manning vs Manning.. Media event of all time? I could see it happen.

That would be quite the spectacle, but the Giants would have a few strong teams to get through before that happened. As for the Colts, who will take them out before the SuperBowl? Any guesses?

Reminds me of the decision to keep Dick Jauron in Chicago after they're 13-3 season. A total fluke, really, that they did that well, but they couldn't fire the coach after a season that good (even if they did get obliterated in their first playoff game).

Any thoughts on whether the Texans are deliberately losing games?

That's 3 close ones and that last kick to take the game to OT against the Titans... well, let's just say that I think I could have kicked it straighter!

Are they out to make sure they get the number 1 pick and the chance at Bush?

Could make for an interesting last game of the season at San Francisco if neither team wants to win and get the second pick...

Very good point - who will try the hardest to lose? Should make for a good game... :p ;)

I was mad when the Browns couldnt pull one out against the Bunguls this weekend
i have been a die hard browns fan since little on.

I think this team is turining around
they went 4-12 last year
and so far this year they are 4-9

But also this year they have their 1st 1000yard rusher in 20year lol

I think the Browns are going to be a threat next year
and a contending team the following

BTW they lost to the Bunguls by 3, but their 1st round pick Braylon Edward was out.

Who's Manning's backup again? Because I give you 4 to 1 that's who'll be playing that game if Indy beats San Diego next week. Two reasons:

1) Resting the starters, because I saw Dungy on sports center basically saying winning the Super Bowl is more important than 16-0.

2) They could very well be playing each other in the Super Bowl in a month, so neither team will want to scout their A game for the other at this point.

And that's exactly why it will be a good game - will the Colts try for an undefeated record, or rest their starters and focus on the SuperBowl? Interesting choice...

Regardless, Arizona will beat them the last game fof the season if they are still undefeated, and they'll get beat by someone in the Conference Finals and not even make it to the SuperBowl... :p  ;)

They will not rest the starters in week 15-16 for the simple reason they will get a week off with the first round bye. Dungy is the type of coach that feels if you get too rested you are not on your game. Peyton and the boys will be playing each and every game. They may pull them late in the third or early fourth quarter if they are way ahead but you can bet money they will start.

BITE YOUR TOUNGE.:p :p I can stomach a loss to the Chargers, I almost expect a loss to the Seahawks, but Arizona?? That would just be wrong on every level
