SD (when they lose to my Steelers next week) will be on the hotseat for being so hyped up, and not delivering...

All hype that team is, but at least they have those cute light blue thowback uniforms.

Cowboys could be on a streak now, they look pretty fired up.

Washington, I'm on the fence, I'll need to see another win before I get on their bandwagon.

And Tenn has easliy established itself as the worst team in the league, yes worse than SF...
I don't think the Chargers are all hype, but I do think they are poorly coached. "Martyball" keeps the Chargers from being an outright dominating team.

And feel free to stay off the 'Skins bandwagon, it let's the real fans have some elbow room. ;)

Meh, I doubt many things can top last season's roller coaster for the Packers. Then again, I hope I'm not proven wrong.

how about dem Bears? gotta say that was a good and impressive game. but then again i am a fan.

I'm not! :( I'm a 'Hawks fan all the way but I gotta admit between last week & today they sure are *theee* team.

Way to go Bears!

I'm not a fan of Da Bears but they really are looking like the real deal. Berrian makes a huge difference in taking some pressure of Muhammed and Grossman looks suprisingly good. And the D... well, hey, it's a Chicago D!

The only bad thing was that I went out to the bar tonight since some old friends were down and they left the coverage on the Bears game which got a little dull towards the end - especially since they did also have the Rams/Packers game that they could have switched to.

Same old Cardinals

Arizona holds a ten point lead, at home, going into the 4th quarter. And of course, they lose by 3. Sigh...

I'm not a Cards fan, but this team has flat out sucked for about the past 50 years. That's just sad.

Dallas...leave it to Bledsoe to throw the game-winning interception. I've got a ton of respect for the guy, but pete's sake, it's almost like he's the second coming of Vinny Testaverde. Big, slow, & prone to the clutch mistake.

If Roethlisberger doesn't turn it around tonight, I'm going to go out on a limb and say the Steelers are heading for a 6-10 season. If they're lucky.

Da Bears!

I was bit ticked off at CBS though, up here in Wisconsin, they decided to switch us to a "more competitive" game a few minutes into the third quarter, so I was stuck watching New England/Miami instead of my Bears.

When they were the Chicago Cardinals in the mid 40's they were good. They won the NFL Championship, based on record, the year after their original owner, ol' man Bidwell, bit the dust. From Chicago to St. Louis to Arizona, they have been owned and dwarfed by the Bidwells. It's their curse. When it comes to nepotism it's best to keep it in the family. I loathed them when in St. Louis and I was among the majority.

and by the way

a HUGE thumbs down to NBC for asking McNabb not one but two questions about T.O. during the course of a 90-second postgame interview.

a big props to McNabb for having enough class not to answer them...

Between the Red Sox meltdown, Schumacher's engine blowing up yesterday, and now this, I am not having a good sports year.
Go Bruins, go Celtics.

He didn't have to. The fans were vocal enough.

yeesh...another stinker by the Steelers :(

but you gotta love the San Diego powder blue uniforms :D Why don't they wear those all the time? The navy blue is just ugly.

Your best hope is the 'Big Dig' doesn't cave in on you "Bostonian Fan". :D

'Cause there is no way the Boston Bruins & The Boston Celtics are going to win anything but ->last place. :D :D :D

Relax though - you 'tea-haters' still have the best chowder on the planet :)

A huge MINUS to CBS for not showing the Carolina/Cleveland game in HD. That's just pathetic.

Having been to Cleve(-mug-)land I have no doubt that the CBS HD cameras were stolen 2.5 seconds after arrival

Saves having to watch those ugly uniforms any clearer...

Although I think those purple pants that the Vikings are in this year are worse...

We don't get the NFL in HD over in the UK but you can definitely tell the games that aren't being shown in it - it goes back to blurry, crap colour conversion upscaling to PAL rather than downscaling from HD to PAL. There was a Jets game a few weeks ago where I had to over-saturate the TV to try to make the green 'green' rather than 'grey'

Well, since the game took place here in Charlotte, that would have been quite a feat. ;)

Whoops

Why didn't you just buy a ticket & go to the game?? The Best HD is one's own eyes.

Whoops, again. I was at the game; I go to ALL of the Panthers home games. :)

But I still record the games so that I can go back and watch specific plays... and when doing that, I noticed that the game was not in HD.

They probably only have so many cameras, so instead of wasting them on the Carolina game they brought them to Chicago...:p

:D

Now that I know what Nutters do on their day off :) What else do you record clayj???
