And if they don't?Biggest game of the year for the Steelers this week.
If they win, I'll forgive them for the bogus season thus far....
Well, the Panthers sucked today, too. At least the Steelers lost to a good team.sigh.... we blow
worst game ever

I never would have guessed the Ravens would be 9-2 at this point. Amazing what can happen when you add an average offense to good special teams and a very strong defense.
I wonder how far we can go...
Is there a team in the NFC that could beat any of the top 3 teams in the AFC? Eh...I doubt it. Maybe Chicago (though not with Grossman), or possibly Dallas.
Speaking of which, if Dallas keeps playing the way they have been, they're going to be mighty tough come January.
I mean come on, the patriots beat bad teams,
And they barely lost to some good ones. And despite turning the ball over 5 times (heartattack!), they still managed to beat the Bears (at home, where they've sucked this year, which you'll note is the site of their 3 losses).
Say what you want about the Pats, but depite personel problems and (the 3rd year in a row with) a completely depleted secondary, they STILL manage to put up a winning season.

If you're really going to hang your hat on the win against the Bears, the patrios post season is going to be as short as last year. Sunday's game was just one of those times that somebody had to win but no one deserved too. The Patriots slightly edged the Bears but that kind of game will get them hammered in the playoffs.
I'm not saying the bears earned any respect at all, I'm just saying that the patriots still have a way to go.
i'm not so sure i'd say that. they beat a team with only 1 loss. that's saying something. it might have been ugly, but they won nonetheless
My Ravens are like the Rodney Dangerfield of pro football. They "can't get no respect". Ravens are still listed as the underdogs in tomorrows game against the Bengals. Maybe if they can find a way to win that game, things might change a bit.
Ravens were getting plenty of respect ... and then they lost to denver BAD and they lost to Carolina late so they looked like they were sliding down. You can't blame people for forgetting about them and the Bengals are re-surgent and showing the offensive prowess we all expected. I wouldn't worry about the line because I think its going to be a good game on Sunday no matter who's slightly favored.
Not so sure about the game on Sunday, but the Ravens / Bengals matchup on Thursday night should be something to see.![]()

Tom Brady was barely moving the ball better than Grossman, and thats nothing to be proud of.
I think that if you came out and played your best possible game and dominated the 1 loss team, thats something to be confident about. If you did anything special you can be proud of that. All the patriots did was survive in my book. I'm reducing it quite a bit, but again, neither of the teams that I saw play on Sunday are ready for the playoffs next weekend. Tom Brady was barely moving the ball better than Grossman, and thats nothing to be proud of.
Be happy for a win, but to me a wins not just a win. you need to do it convincingly, and the Patriots didn't really come close to that.
Don't like Thursday night gamessince I can't watch them as they start at 1am Friday and I have work. Even more annoyed this time though since our darned satellite company are putting them on a different channel that you have to pay another premium for. I already pay for two channels to get NFL action.
Guess I'll just have to try to avoid the score (which I'm really bad at doing!) and watch it on Gamepass on Friday night
