I'm sorry but as a NE hater, i feel obliged to mention- Moss is going to say that he has turned a new leaf and is going to be different now, but isn't that the same thing we were promised with Vick and Pacman. Granted I don't think Moss is in the same league as Vick (in terms of his screw-ups), but does anyone else think that this is just more of the same from the players who constantly create controversy?

It's a totally different story for Moss. He took a pay-cut (i.e, tore up his old contract) from making 9.75 million to 3 million dollars just to play for the patriots. That says plenty about his desire to want to play for a team and compete for a championship. He was unwilling to do this for any other team.

Woohoo! 'Skins signed LaRon Landry today.

Yes, i know that the skins really need a DE or DT, but I think we made the right choice by drafting the best player available.

Look at Detroit, do you think they needed to draft a WR? No, but they got the best player available.

Oakland needed everything, so they got the best player for the most important position.

I think it's a bad sign if you're comparing your team to the likes of detroit and oakland...

No..Because in the locker room Seymour,Brady,Bruschi,Harrison et al keep everybody in line.Been that way for a while now..Moss has a one year deal with the Pats. He's playing for NEXT year and the big pay day.

The SF Chronicle is reporting that Bill Walsh has passed away. He had been battling leukemia.

Just read that too. Very sad day... if it hadn't been for his coaching of the Niners, I wouldn't be an SF fan today... (not least, because they'd never have been on UK TV without him).

Although he'd given up on the official consultancy, his wisdom will be missed. Still, in terms of all the coaches that he's had an influence on, he'll be remembered.

yea...sorry the league is currently full...

i'm up for the pickem and suicide but like applespider said, we need the league number id

Tomorrow night.....Saints vs. Patriots.

Thanks NFL! Way to kill our buzz from last season, by giving us the season opener AT Indianapolis.

I do believe it's time to resurrect the Saints 'tar.

zomg...when did the nfl do three team games? (it's ok...we all have the pats on our minds) it's saints colts...and i hope the colts get beat down

err, what?

Just caught my mistake! Corrected....

I do indeed think that the Pats when win the whole thing this year though. I'm obviously dying for the Saints to even make it to the SB, let alone win it - I just don't know if it's possible against the AFC teams.

I need Brees to have an amazing season, he's my starting QB for my fantasy league with my friends. Although, if he doesn't live up to expectations, Hasselbeck is my backup.

My team
RBs:
Shaun Alexander
Willis McGahee
LaMont Jordan (dropped Randy McMichael for him)
DeShaun Foster
Reuben Droughns

QBs:
Drew Brees
Matt Hasselbeck
J.P. Losman (dropped Chad Pennington for him)

WRs:
Deion Branch
Laveranaues Coles
Donte Stallworth
Isaac Bruce

TE:
Benjamin Watson

K:
Stephen Gostkowski

D:
Seahawks
Panthers

Comments? Criticisms?

Your WRs are kind of weak...although stallworth could have a good year...but the pats spread the ball alot...your RBs are a little iffy...i'm not liking alexander this year, but i hope mcgahee will be a monster...
