Your WRs are kind of weak...although stallworth could have a good year...but the pats spread the ball alot...your RBs are a little iffy...i'm not liking alexander this year, but i hope mcgahee will be a monster...

Thanks for the feedback. I just traded Isaac Bruce for Joe Horn. A lot of people are calling for a pretty big season from Horn, and I figure that Bruce wasn't gonna get the ball that much anyways...

Im not going to really get into football until baseball is over in november. I am looking forward to Sunday nights Giants Cowboys game. How will Strayhan play missing all of training camp, and will Tiki just shut it already, we get it that you don't like Caughlin.

It's going to be a long year if David can't figure out man to man.

3 touchdowns is ridiculous.

So there are talks of cutting the pre season games from 4 to 2 and making the season 18 games, and moving the Pro Bowl a week before the Super Bowl.

I'm all for shortening the pre season. But I can't see the Pro Bowl before the Super Bowl. The risk of injury to a player in the Pro Bowl, that's also in the Super Bowl,is too great..

The 2 Super Bowl teams would not play in the Pro Bowl, and the Pro Bowl would be held in the Super Bowl city a week before.

I could handle that. That Sunday is the deadest Sunday in sports,lol..

And yeah,Tiki has been whining like a bi**h for over a year now. Too bad he didn't put as much effort into playing as he did pissing and moaning. It's not the coache's fault you couldn't find the hole, fumbled or got negative yardage. Shut up and play...

Here's an idea.....

Why not have the Pro Bowl aka The All Star Game ummm in the middle of the season like every other friggin sport? Think about it for a sec...

MLB, NBA and NHL (which is pretty much the equivalent of the NFL, except on ice) All Star Games are pretty much a joke.

Essentially nothing would change by moving from the end of the season to the middle. Players wouldn't hit nearly as hard and it would be pretty much a show for the fans.

Yes, I do standby my statement of the NHL being as just as physically tough, if not tougher, than the NFL. If we want to debate that somebody please start a thread.

I'd play the Pro Bowl as the international game rather than making one of the team's losing a home game ;)

I'm annoyed with myself. Avoided this thread and the score all day so I could watch the game tonight... only to come home, open up my RSS feed and find the score. Doh!

Why do you think the Colts let him walk?

Im a Colts fan and David was a serviceable player, but the Colts lost absolutely nothing in letting him go. In fact, they lost their other starting DB from last year too and I think they have actually upgraded that position with Hayden and Jackson as the starters.

Arg. I work on Sundays and I don't have TiVo. Though I'll still manage to catch the late games.
You should be able to download NFL games off iTunes.

what happened to plain old video tape? i'm surprised people aren't using vcrs to record stuff anymore (i haven't taped anything lately, no need to).

They should have the pro bowl in the middle of the season, nobody really cares when it is after the super bowl.

Starting Brees got me 3 points in my fantasy league.

oh yah.

Patriots win 38-14 over the Jets.

Brady was 22/28, 297 yards, 3 touchdowns, 0 interceptions, 146.5 rating.

Moss caught 9 balls for 183 yards and 1TD for 51 yards.

Ellis Hobbs returned a kickoff 108 yards for a touchdown, the longest in NFL history. The previous longest was 106 yards (3 times), last time in 1979.

I'm pissed off.

I forked out $240 for Gamepass which I had last year - basically it allows people not in North America to watch NFL games via a Yahoo player. The full-screen bit didn't work on Macs but last year, it worked pretty well.

This year... I have audio but no video and Yahoo's support is rubbish.

I've checked I meet their minimum requirements, I've checked my connection but zip... it's really really annoying. If they don't get it working then I'm going to be asking my credit card company to reverse the transaction since occasional audio-only isn't what I paid for!

That really stinks - I hope you get your money back!

Go Bears! (I hope no one bet the over on this game, it's 3-0, yikes!)

well it looks like the start of a long season for the falcons. at least with vick, they were exciting to watch, whether they won or lost.

moss looked really good, maybe he's finally back to his old form

the bears are back to their cheating ways.....he was clearly offsides

Moss looked amazing - that was the TV game so lack of picture didn't matter. The amusing thing was the French guy in the bar who announced, just before that long TD, that Moss couldn't really run very fast

Might also be a long season for those Browns. Just their first half seemed to go on for ever!

Bears have been making a ton of mistakes, and it's frustrating. Down 7-3 now, so they're not out of it, but hopefully Hester returns this next kickoff because the offense has been sucking.
