Further proof that Tomlinson is a pansy bitch compared to Philip Rivers:

SAN DIEGO (AP) -- Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers said Monday that he had arthroscopic surgery on his right knee a week ago in order to play in the AFC championship game, and that he'll need surgery on the torn anterior cruciate ligament in the same joint.

Rivers made it through Sunday's 21-12 loss to the perfect New England Patriots despite the damage to his knee, which he sustained in an upset win over the Indianapolis Colts a week earlier.

Rivers said he'd like to have surgery as soon as possible on the torn ACL.

"It's gone," he said. "I don't know exactly the details on that. I'll be ready by training camp."

Rivers said he had arthroscopic surgery a week earlier to clean out damaged cartilage.

"It wasn't real extensive, but I mean, really that was the only way I would have had a chance to play by doing that on Monday," he said. "I thought maybe I could come back in the Colts game but it was catching. That's what we did on Monday to give me the chance to play on Sunday."

Running back LaDainian Tomlinson said he's not going to need surgery on the sprained medial collateral ligament in his left knee, which he originally hurt in the Indianapolis game.

Tomlinson carried only twice Sunday, both in the game's first drive, and caught a short screen pass the following series before retiring to the sideline for good.

Tomlinson said he'll probably sit out the Pro Bowl.

All the people jumping on the eli bandwagon... you know that he was 21/40 yesterday, right? And you also know that's not a good day by any stretch of the imagination? I bring this up because I'm starting to get the sense here that people think Eli is something he's not... a good NFL QB.

And it was also what -6 outside? Give it up for a while. How many Picks did Brady throw yesterday? How many has Eli thrown all Postseason.

Brady threw 3 picks and the Pats still won..What's your point?
Let's see if this stat holds:
Since 2003 The Patriots are 10-0 when they have 2 weeks to prepare for a game.. The Giants are 1-3 when they have 2 weeks to prepare for a game ever since Tom Coughlin took over as head coach.

The point is that Eli hasn't thrown a pick in 3 weeks. The Giants now are a lot different then the team they were even a few months ago.

Nope..The point is that even tho Brady threw 3 picks, the Pats still won..When most QB's throw 3 picks, their team loses..And this Pat's team isn't quite the same team the Giants faced either..

In the record books throwing a pick is throwing a pick, and Brady has more then Eli in the post season.

Look who they played, a beat up Rivers. Hardly a great comparison.

They played the number one plus turnover defense in the league. Nice try. Once again..Did Brady's picks cost them the game?Good teams win when they play well,GREAT teams win when they don't play well..

But GREAT teams can still loose to a team that plays better any given week. Doesn't mean much.

Im just saying the Giants have a shot, not saying they will win but don't underestimate them either.

Yes, let's compare.

Brady... 50 TDs, 8 int
Eli... 23 TD, 20 int

So Eli is about half of a Tom Brady, more or less. :D

Look who they played, a beat up Rivers. Hardly a great comparison. Had Rivers thrown a few TD passes things might of been closer.

Had Favre not thrown an interception at the worst time the Packers could have easily won that game. That game was a lot closer than either of the games the Pats have played.

And it all comes down to 1 game, numbers don't mean much anymore.;)

Then why the **** are you preaching Eli Manning's numbers?

GO GIANTS! And Throw Tom Brady Off His Game!
Want to help throw the Patriots' Tom Brady off his game at the big game? What better way to do that than to have him seeing his ex-girlfriend / mother of his son Bridget Moynahan everywhere!

Tom and Bridget dated for two years, and Bridget got pregnant around the time they broke up -- a split that was curiously close to the time that he started dating Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen. Their relationship has been, well, frosty ever since; Bridget even named their son John Edward Thomas Moynahan, not only leaving out the Brady name but giving him the initials JET! (And you know how the Patriots loooove the Jets...)

Q104.3 is all about psyching out Brady for the Super Bowl, and we've created this Bridget mask to help you guys do it! Download it, print it out on a color printer, cut it up, paste it to a stick and voila! Carry it with you around the city, take it with you to the big game -- don't let any opportunity to psyche Brady out pass!

Whatever it takes!!!!!!

Best teams in the NFL:

1) Patriots
2) Colts
3) Chargers
4) Jaguars
5) Cowboys
6) Steelers
7) Giants/Vikings?

The Giants should thank God they are not in the AFC.

That doesn't make them a better team.

Exactly. I think momentum has a ton do with it. San Diego also beat the Colts, but the Colts are still a better team. Cowboys had zero momentum going into the playoffs. The Giants beat them, but their talent doesn't match up to the Cowboys.
